A points deduction that guarantees relegation is disproportionate to what they've done over such an extended period of time. They've not just broken the rules, they've basically said they don't apply to them and lied repeatedly. They should be expelled and made to apply for league status again.

I'm sure it's applied across all owners regardless of when they assumed ownership. I take your point but it's the semantics of how it's worded in relation to the initial test, i.e. prospective owners take the test then are subject to ongoing annual checks (along with all other existing owners).

Would hardly consider the 5th game of the season against an unbeaten team "must win". The result will shape the narrative during the international break though, as they tend to do. Win and the start of the season has been good, lose and it doesn't look like the best.

Yeah I totally get that. I think there was more of a plan/patterns of play in the first 2 games where we were set up for countering but that has been missing in the last couple where we've been expected to be more in control.

I see and understand the concerns. Our plan of how we're trying to play isn't clear yet but there's been quite a bit of mitigation (especially for Monday where we had several things go against us before and during the game).

I get that but I'm also in the very early days camp. Lots of new, young players come with an adjustment period and throw the new manager on top it's going to take a lot of time. The last 2 PL games have been against very settled teams that know what they are trying to do and we're not there yet.
