What's crazy is I was getting my antidepressant script filled. I almost turned around and walked straight back out
Maslow's heirachy of needs, with all tiers scribbled out and the text replaced with:

I'm sorry but this is so fucking funny
I'm not coming down until they lower the taxes," he says, his voice raised and shaking. "I'm f---ing sick of paying that s---."

When asked by this masthead which taxes he meant, the account that posted the videos simply replied, "All of them".

What did they mean by this?
An edited Reddit ad from the herald sun titled: How to convince the court you should get the kids when you've spent your share of the equity on a boat to live on. The inset image is of a middle-aged white dude with his arms crossed and smiling slightly, overlaid over a picture of money and a torn up wedding photo.

Maybe the funniest ad I've ever been served

Honestly regardless of the crimes someone's accused of, the police should not be able to shoot them dead and then say stuff like "it's a good day" out in public. I mean, look at what his son is saying. It's hard not to have empathy for him here. I think we can ask more of our police force.
Facebook post by Koah Tamatoa:
Hello there community of Bright.
Im sure you are all celebrating the death of Desmond freeman. I'm putting this post here to make you all as a community to keep something in mind. My last name is not Tamatoa, it's Freeman and I am the eldest son of the freeman family. And am not here to defend my father's actions because I know what he did was wrong. What I'm here about however is seeing so-called "friends" and people who thought were nice people say some questionable things. I hope you all realise that I am looking at everything you's are saying, and that you all realise how that is making me feel. I know you people all have thoughts to share about the situation that has been happening. Just bear in mind that to you's my father was a cop killer, but to me that's still my father who raised me to be the man I am today. And for the people who know me well they know exactly what I'm talking about. This is news that I be grieving about while some of you disgusting humans celebrate online for ME to watch. If the admin does not like this then delete it. From your local apprentice mechanic, Koah

I was looking up what young Karlos has said about the Isis brides to riff about him getting radicalised by his child bride, but I found this? This is shocking stuff considering what he says on his podcast etc. I was constantly under pressure for being biased at Nine - how does this guy have a job

Let's say everyone else around Australia is getting their spending under control but the

government hasn't and we've seen this rise, Heidi, of One Nation continue to keep rolling,

it's picking up pace with support for the party continuing to surge in the regions, but also

across parts of Victoria, you know, this is a real problem for Labor.

HEIDI MURPHY

I was in the middle of Melbourne yesterday or in the western suburbs of Melbourne doing

a media conference and a man walked past yelling out, go One Nation, it was on and on

and on about One Nation. This is downtown Melbourne essentially or in western suburbs

not in a country town where you might expect it a bit more. They're certainly surging. Does

it turn into votes? We'll know in the South Australian election soon. We face an election

here in Victoria in November. Clearly there's frustration with the major parties at the state

level, probably at the federal level and One Nation's there ready to scoop it all up.

KARL STEFANOVIC

Bridget, I know. Why don't you just join forces with them?

BRIDGET MCKENZIE

Well, Karl, no-one's saying that those on the non-Labor side of Parliament won't be doing

everything we can to stop a Labor government after both the state election and the federal.

KARL STEFANOVIC

So you will join forces with One Nation? You're open to it at the very least.

There's this landlord who constantly cc's me in on his long-running fight with his property managers, CAV, the REIV, et al and now I think he's asking for legal advice and he wants to pay me?

As far as I am aware this is the first time I've been read into Hansard (hooray) but unfortunately the treasurer got my workplace wrong (boo, hiss)
Screenshot of Victorian legislative council Hansard which reads: Jaclyn SYMES (Northern Victoria – Treasurer, Minister for Industrial Relations, Minister for
Regional Development) (12:34): Similar to previous responses, Mr Davis, we are building more
homes and approving more homes, and more first home buyers are entering the market in Victoria
than in any other state. In relation to the statements that you made, I might use some other words to
counteract what you said, because recent analysis by Jim Malo at domain.com.au demonstrates that
more investors are buying than selling in Victoria, meaning that there are more investment properties,
not less. He also found that while more than 40 per cent of New South Wales investors invest in
properties interstate, less than 10 per cent of Victorian investors do, because Victorians know that
Victoria is a fantastic place to invest their money. As I said, if we are talking about pressure on
landlords, let us talk about the facts. We know that interest rates have had an impact, we know that
supply has an impact, and that is what we are taking measures on.

This is nearly 20 hours. I looked up this day in Google Maps and the only thing I did that day was leave the house to buy KFC.
Spotify wrapped page which shows I listened to 1187 minutes of music on July 8.

OK so if you've been hearing that landlords selling up and it's hurting rental supply in Victoria, here's an interesting graph: CoreLogic data and analysis suggests the number of investors buying Victorian property has consistently been higher than the number of investors selling.
A double line graph which shows the number of purchases made by investors has been higher than the number of investors selling. The line for purchases is consistently higher than the sales line, except for February 2024.
