I eventually got around the fee with help from customer service, but it sucked and I'm still pissed off about it. So basically, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

I was also never made aware of the cancellation fee (a thing I thought was illegal in Canada). And bare in mind this was less than two months ago, not some ancient memory. I don't even remember seeing an option for a more expensive but billed monthly plan. (Also not happy my money went toward AI)

Just cancelled my Adobe Animate plan (which I only had to transfer assets) and it was an awful experience. Apparently I was signed up for a pay monthly annual plan, which I was not aware of, and it involved a huge cancellation fee. I have zero recollection of picking an annual plan.

Good thread. At the end of the movie when the lights came on, I turned to my brother and said, "Well, that fucking sucked." I have not been able to care about anything Star Wars since. I don't dress up for May 4th any more. I couldn't even get into the supposedly good Star Wars shows.
