As a fellow gay (lmao), “clock it” def evolved but still means the same at its core. In the 80s/90s ballroom scene, it meant calling out when someone tried to serve a category (fem queen, masc, etc.) but flopped—like RuPaul walking fem queen but showing up w/ a beard and w/o makeup😂

It made me realize how deep the bias runs and how much harder fem-presenting folks have it—even within our own community. And the truth is: fem-presenting folks face the most mockery, rejection, and disrespect. Yet they often set the trends, lead the culture, and hold so much light!

I say this as someone who started college fem-presenting—makeup, glam, inspired by the Stahr Milan era—only to later shift into a more masc look with a full beard, tailored suits, and Jordan’s (1s to be exact). The change in how people treated me was immediate—even straights.

Agreed! I said the same thing in my 2nd post under that thread. Bravo failed Kenya. Kenya was provoked. I hate to say it but it could not be Karma? We’ve seen Kenya provoke a lot of folks on RHOA throughout the years. Either way, I blame Bravo. They’re so into viewership that they fail to step in!
