Also I had to redo multiple parts of his design and that made this take longer than anticipated. I like where he's at now, and all that's left are the Poison, Dark, and Ice Types! I have an idea for the Poison specialist but nothing for the other 2, so I cant say when more updates will come

The Fairy Type can be interpreted as pink, cute, and fun, but fae can also be mysterious and tricky as well. I wanted Wiley to embody that aspect of the type, and eventually his character became this being of local legend, an unknown entity who only cares for business, and nothing more

So to any artists facing imposter syndrome from seeing art you think is "better than yours," just see this variety as motivation that you can truly make whatever you want. Have an idea? Go for it, make your visions known, dont focus on how "bad" you think it is, just make it and have fun

I dont think Ive ever seen people accidentally make similar gym leaders. Even if their types are the same and even profession/gimmick, each artist somehow makes it 100% unique to them. Words cannot describe how much I love that fact, it's always so much fun to witness

Something I love when looking at Pokemon fanart is when I come across other artists making gym leaders. Even though many share type specialties, somehow every leader is unique. Whether that be their style, personality, or any other quirk, I love how you can really take the concept anywhere you want

He wasn't all interested in the gym challenge and preferred other organized events to hone his skills. It wasnt until a certain man approached him where he became a gym leader. He was assigned the Dragon type due to his Champion-level skills #Pokemon #pixelart

He is done, or at least to a point that I like without him being over-designed. This is Noah, he's 12 years old and had a fairly normal childhood. Once he left home at age 10 after receiving his first Pokemon, it took him no time at all to rise to the top. He's sassy, yet loves a good challenge

There will be a slight twist: He'll be young and without as much experience as other Dragon masters, but that doesnt mean he's weak. He'll be the closest you can get to an NPC protagonist, a kid (maybe age 15 or so) who excels above the rest. A prodigy more than worthy of the Dragons he weilds

I was thinking about what prior Dragon trainers were, why they associated with Dragons, and I realized being a Dragon tamer is a sign of high skill, strength, and experience/wisdom. I usually want to steer away from these common type stereotypes but I just couldn't for this new gym leader

Just successfully cloned and replaced my 250GB boot ssd with a 2TB ssd. Gone are the days of those blasted red lines, my life is now backed with blue!
