Here they both lie, face up with at least a little cushion for their bedding while their bottom half is exposed to the other side, their feets folded up and bound by an ankle from the gap on the wall. Fortunately for them, there was no cold wind to blow, nothing of the sort to make them sick from being this exposed. So there’s at least that.

Still, Nestor could only stare up into the endlessly white ceiling with his arms crossed. Partially disappointed and wondering why he even put up with this.

The elevator stopped as it always does, abruptly and with a slight anxious shakes. Acilius have long since gotten used to this, after all, he’s been a captain of this ship for awhile. The gate would part and allow him entrance to the simple quarter, filled with all sorts of Aeldari memorabilia and trophies of those who dare stood in his path throughout the decades.

As he took a turn, to enter his main chamber, who should be standing in his path but the familiar Inquisitor. Idly looking at the tall shelves filled with his collections of weaponry and some books on the shelves, a distance away at that.. But who knows if he was anywhere close and getting his hands anywhere.

“Ahh, my dearest Captain, welcome back~” Faustus greets with a bow, before sauntering over to the small man with a smile. “How is your work today? Quite diligent? I take it the men didn’t cause you too much trouble, hmm?”

Granted, they didn’t left him with his armors on when they tie him up suspended and naked, but the binds they use still chafe at his skin. They had his legs tied together, folded and pulled to the sides. Even his arms are folded behind him, with this awkward steel gloves that kept him from using his claws. Nicanor huffed through his flared nostrils, teeth bared as he craned his neck as far to his chest as he can, to hopelessly try and reach the ropes with his mouth and chewed the restraint off. Alas, his neck are proving to be a hindrance by being too short to reach down.

“Already regained your consciousness, pup?”

That voice… The selfsame Xenos that had tricked him and led to his capture. The Astartes growled, gold tinted eyes cut through like a dagger and bore hole into the sauntering Corsair.

A relic of great import had long since hidden within a planet of no apparent significance until it caught the attention of a vessel belonging to the Thousand Sons. When the rumor reached Inquisitor Faustus Theotleib, there was no hesitation in assembling his retainers and to take heed of the situation in his own hands. For many of the Inquisitor's retainer, this is a great opportunity to finally return their debt to the man whom they owe their future to. Be it a new purpose, life, a promise of better legacy or a pleasant company in the universe full of horrors. All of which set their role within the beginning of a bigger shadow of a conflict to come.
