![[Img ID: A long digital illustration. Five black starts shine above Carcosa, which looms across a starlit-lake Hali. Arthur stands looking over the lake with the King looking down at him.
Rain begins to fall and a bedraggled Arthur looks at the rain falling on his hand.
The King leans closer and pulls his cloak to shelter a Arthur from the weather. /END ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:qjeydgqecrabuvcl2yf3fzzi/bafkreiaasfzlk5tetfxqagxxbfcapx372r5kouwt7sotls6fuwhfxao2yi)
![[Image ID: A digital comic page with two panels depicting Arthur and John on the first one, and Oscar on the second one. They are sitting by the table, having a dinner, plates full of meat, vegetables and glasses full of wine. Arthur and John (who has a human form) sit in suits, there is a large window with drapes behind them with sunset that warms up the whole scenery. They are both smiling as they exchange words: "He's moved to tears, Arthur. We've really outdone ourselves."; "Wow. Well, I'm glad you like it, Oscar. This dinner would be nothing without you." On the next panel we see Oscar with fork full of meat near his mouth, he is speaking while crying: "...My pleasure...". Behind him there is a deer head on a brick wall, though we cannot see its head, so it looks like if Oscar has antlers and deer ears, looking like prey. Whole scenery has really dark shadows and very bright light yellow and orange lighting from the window and the candels. Brown, warm colours make very large contrast with the scene, making it unsettling.]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:fauqf3qir6qzasqsm2hrtfwn/bafkreiek6w2pko2bvon2fdyzyutp7yxebn6vtymaodasqwrffbeco5sxou)
![[ART ID: A digital drawing. In a panel at the top, against a cracked and dirty brick wall, is a blond woman with four green horns and pointed ears. She is hunched over, looking towards the viewer with one goat-like eye visible. Blood drips down her face and neck. Her green dress is splattered with blood.
Below, in harsh yellow shading John Doe takes a monstrous yellow cloaked form, Arthur clutched in a black tendril. This John has a canid-like appearance, his pallid mask is wolf like with two horns, his body is black and fluffy, in the center of his chest is a blue oval gem. He reaches forward, placing one clawed hand-paw in front of himself and Arthur.
Arthur is hanging in John's grip, looking distressed, disheveled, and bloody.
They are framed by messy brickwork walls tinted green and cracking under power. /END ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:qjeydgqecrabuvcl2yf3fzzi/bafkreiffupywez64lyys2hykxubdozgrlnjmhxglgl7zmvu5il6x4sttie)
![[ID: Comic page with 8 sections, the first is John looking lovingly at Arthur, the second is Arthur looking back at John, tears in his eyes, looking distraught while John asks off screen if he's okay. Third is a close up of Arthur's eyes, looking away angrily, tears more obvious in his eyes. Telling John "Don't" and "Yes" in response to his question. In the next two panels, Arthur repeats that he's okay, his hand raised to keep John from getting closer, but John approaches him and reaches out while Arthur seems to shrink and his resolve wavers as his hand lowers. Fully body image of John hugging Arthur while golden light glows behind them and the comic switches from a limited color palette to a fully colored scene for the rest of the comic. John pulls back, face inches from Arthur's in the next panel, telling Arthur "You're okay." Then they kiss in the last panel, Arthur's arms wrapped around John while John caresses Arthur's face. /end ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:it454tfen5l7bpvicqy4zo2m/bafkreiftj6vaul4ryx664cz7pkpb7fj7gmzwnixahtp22vdripc4ve3hpy)
![[ID: A comic-like digital page, set within an aquarium tunnel, depicting John and Oscar - John is a taller man with brown skin, long curly hair, a white shirt and slacks, and Oscar is a shorter man with darker skin, missing his left arm, short curly hair, a beard, wearing a cassock and glasses with a gold chain. The first panel depicts John touching a pane of glass and blood seeping out into the water beyond it, almost like an anemone, red fading into the blue water. The second panel depicts Oscar blushing as he washes the fish tank window in front of him and looks over his shoulder, with a shark curling around the comic frame in the background. The third panel depicts Oscar suddenly startling and squeezing the rag as John in the foreground looks sad and forlorn, the pupils of his eyes slightly glowing. The last panel depicts Oscar's point of view as John, with his back to the viewer, still pokes at the glass in the first panel but the shadow of a shark has passed over him revealing a cloak of tentacles following the pattern of light diffused through water. In the background numerous other fish are shadowed - another shark, tuna, a manta ray, a grouper, a school of fish - and seaweed rises up from the presumed bottom of tank almost like John's tentacle cloak. The blood from the first panel still seeps out into the tank from where he pokes the glass. /end ID]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:mf4zlvwy6vgj73uso7m2ksui/bafkreicvsuhohicrydcfjhbnscxewnrhjlaqxglohy6rr4blnq67i4bqmi)
