This isn't all of them and she's mostly the product of my own delusions, but if you squint you can see the influences

Characters that inspired Dia in some way: Echo and Alice from Pandora Hearts, Usagi and Hotaru from Sailor Moon, Furina from Genshin Impact, Eve from Black Cat, Princess Zelda from Legend of Zelda, and Odette from The Swan Princess. In the middle of the image is Dia herself in her Evercold glam.

This is Diantha! Her maternal grandfather wanted power and control of a voidsent without the burden of a pact, so he arranged the marriage of his only child (who was half voidsent) to another voidsent to create a child with the intention of using it like a scary dog. Thus, Dia was born.

Don't fall for this, they aren't walking back anything in this statement. This reddit response is only rehashing what Discord has already stated in the press release about this update. Keep cancelling your nitro and blowing their notifications and inboxes up!

Privacy-Forward Age Assurance

Age assurance is the foundation of this new experience and is designed to respect Discord users’ privacy and choice. Discord users can choose to use facial age estimation or submit a form of identification to its vendor partners, with more options coming in the future. Additionally, Discord will implement its age inference model, a new system that runs in the background to help determine whether an account belongs to an adult, without always requiring users to verify their age. Some users may be asked to use multiple methods if more information is needed to assign an age group.

hehehe making family trees is a hobby of mine I haven't thought much about the human side of her family, cos they kinda suck lol but this is what I have so far Raina belongs to @halflune.bsky.social

Dia's Family Tree (as I have thought of it so far). It starts at Lilith, a powerful Voidsent from the Red Mage Quest Line of Final Fantasy 14. She is connect to the Calowise family in game, which are distantly related to Arya (an NPC from the Red Mage Quest Line). Through her, Arya and Dia are distantly related but not enough to be directly connected.

Lilith is ALSO distantly related to the currently unnamed Voidsent woman that would become Dia's grandma, who sired her mother Millicent with Grandpa Jerk (who also has a name but I am too lazy to think of it rn). Millicent fell in love with a Voidsent man named D'Artagnan, and together they made Diantha. Diantha then married Raina and together they have 4 children: Margot & Elio (twins), Callisto, and Selene.

Diantha - A mess. Her grandfather wanted the power of a voidsent at his disposal without needing a contract, so he orchestrated some arranged marriages and ended up with her and has manipulated her all her life. She's incredibly soft-spoken and gentle, but she grows more confident with time.

Elspeth - A proud, spiteful woman searching for knowledge that could prolong her short life. She was born with thin aether and is dying from it. A big, awful voidsent gave her family power and wealth and in return, he wants to marry her. She hates him and does everything to spite him.

A Hyur/Human woman with magenta hair that seems to be turning white at the ends. She wears short brown boots with long stockings and a short blue dress. On her back is a staff that looks like a lantern.

Freyr - The former hero of a fallen shard. He turned to the Ascian that caused his home's calamity as a last ditch effort to survive and thus became their vessel. He's kinda of a huge, smug bastard and he feeds on aether because hosting an ascian and remaining in control takes a toll on his body.

A Viera/Bunny Humanoid man with black hair and red eyes, there is a scar over one of his eyes. His clothes are black and red and white, and consist of draping fabrics that are tied and pinned. On his back is a large bow (weapon).
