Good.. mixmag.net/read/new-app... This is becoming a bit of an issue worldwide. It's good to know that these, including smartphones, are starting to be banned in clubs.

Sometimes, all it takes is a few words of encouragement to help get you over the hump. Today is a good day.

So, in one of these DJs Helping DJs Facebook groups, I wanted to let them know about the growing music scene in VR and VRChat. OMG, did that post get a lot of negative flack from them. They aren't real Djs, they just use sync, etc. etc. I couldn't believe the hate. Unreal.

I was all over the place last night. SO MANY amazing venues and DJs. I was jumping from spot to spot to show support. If you saw me and then 20 minutes later I was gone, it wasn't because of the venue, dj or the music, just trying to support the peeps!!

Although house and its subgenres are my first love when it comes to music, I want to be a multi-genre DJ as there is so much out there to listen to and love!

So, #Magfest is basically happening in my backyard in January. Hmm..

M187 @makavelli187.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Well, well. #Magfest 2027 is not far from DC at all next year.

M187 @makavelli187.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Wait, do people are crowdfunding to get money to buy a Steam Frame?

M187 @makavelli187.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

My buddy, who is a dj IRL here in DC, has been fascinated by and inspired by the VRChat music scene since I introduced him to it. He now is building his rig via MicroCenter, 5090, 64GB RAM, etc., etc., and will soon be joining the ranks of VRDJ.

I have the quest 3, but looking to get a second headset and i think it was @aliquem.vrc.dj who suggested the Pico 4. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far and the price is good on ebay.

The Steam Frame is probably one of the first VR headsets that can do everything right out of the box, but the high price, short battery life and some software glitches stop it from dethroning the much-cheaper Meta Quest 3. Our review: bit.ly/3V9lLCH

Music is life! It's why I always stop into as may dj sets as I can because you never know when you'll hear a track or tracks that you have to get for your collection. Heard several last night, especially from @zejayz.bsky.social's amazing set at #Identica.

Don't be anal. Yes, you want your set to be great, but it's taken you several days just to pick 5 songs. LOL! Loosen up! Feel the vibe. The tracks will come. #Woosah

I saw this quote today about the Steam Frame: "Basically, Valve tried to make a single VR headset for literally everybody, and in doing so succeeded in making a VR headset for literally NOBODY but Valve fanboys or people that want a standalone VR headset but hate Meta... "
