Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026The real stars of the Weezer show were the puppets of the band members made by a girl and her mom who were next to us. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 04/10/2026The Shins opening for Weezer. I haven't really kept up with them since James Mercer fired the rest of the band after Wincing the Night Away, but those old songs still hit hard. And his voice is just too good. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Oh cool my album is being kept from distribution on streaming services because whatever AI system Distrokid uses thinks one of my songs "contains elements of" some song I never heard of that sounds nothing like my song. Real cool. 200
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Sad that I had to miss seeing The Beths in Columbia earlier this week, but we're going to Charlotte for Weezer tonight! Also excited to the the Shins open. Should be a good time. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Making videos to try to promote my music reminds me of how much I enjoyed making anime music videos back in the day. Kind of wish I had gotten serious about learning more advanced video editing. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026Buy the way, today is Bandcamp Friday, which means they're waiving their usual fees and all revenue goes to the artist. Also my birthday is in 2 days. Be a cool guy and check out my new music! 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I recorded this album over the last year or so but have been working on the songs for much longer. I'm really happy with how it came out and would love for people to give it a listen! It's only on Bandcamp for now but should make it out to streamers soon. undeniablyokay.bandcamp.com/album/preten...undeniablyokay.bandcamp.comPretend I Know What I'm Doing, by Undeniably Okay12 track album 120
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I used my minimal video editing skills to make this music video for my song "Pretend." I think it's fun! Check it out! Share it with your friends! Watch it a million times! Something neat happens at the end! youtu.be/NY_YJHYI-JM?...youtu.beUndeniably Okay - Pretend (Official Music Video)YouTube video by Undeniably Okay 001

Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I just remembered that earlier this year I watched the Devil's Advocate in the same room with Isaac Brock while he gave half-assed commentary over it. What a bizarre experience. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 20/09/2026We found this lil guy living in a hole in the busted up shed that came with our house. 001
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Thought maybe I could DIY replace the shut off valves for our washer but of course it wasn't an easy fix like some can be. Had to call a plumber and now we have $1000 less in our savings account that seems to be dwindling by the day. 100
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Issues we've found in our house since moving in: Multiple cracks in bathtub/shower Oven overheats, is basically unusable Oven is 27", all new ovens are 30" so counter cutout will have to be widened Washing machine water valves leak Probably others I'm forgetting. 100
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 10/09/2026We haven't gotten as far as getting my desk upstairs yet so here's my work from home setup for tomorrow. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Rented a U-Haul to move today and listened to the local rock radio station I used to listen to in the early 2000s while driving. They still play basically the same stuff they were playing in the early 2000s. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 04/09/2026We found this stray dog roaming the street in our new neighborhood a few days ago and brought him to the local shelter. They cleaned him up pretty good but he's such a little scraggly guy! Honestly would have considered keeping him if we didn't have so much going on with this house. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Was a bit excited when I learned that our new house is in AT&T's service area for fiber. Scheduled to have it set up today, only for the guy to show up, look around, and decide there's no feasible way to run the line to our house. 100
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 26/08/2026I've got a million things going on with moving and house repairs, but I'm also trying to finish up the artwork for an album I've been working on so I can put it out. Here's the cover. My wife Ashley did the illustration because she's the best. 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 14/08/2026My work computer has desktop background that randomly changes between different National Geographic-style photos and this guy popped up today. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Sad to hear about Glen Hansard. I never delved too far into his music but Once was a great movie and he did my favorite cover of a NMH song. youtu.be/-EPZQunlky0?...youtu.beThe Swell Season covers Neutral Milk HotelYouTube video by The A.V. Club 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 27/07/2026We just watched Marty Supreme and after learning what the original ending was supposed to be, I feel cheated. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 10/07/2026Hey everybody, buying a house is stressful and also feels more like gambling than I think it should. 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 22/06/2026The craziest thing about trying to buy a house right now is that people are allowed to use "AI enhanced" photos in their listings to just straight-up lie about the condition of the house. 100
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 17/06/2026You know a band is used to playing bigger venues in their home country when their stage backdrop is too big for their name to be fully visible at a headlining show in the US. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 17/06/2026The Beths were so good! Easily one of the best-sounding shows I've been to, both in terms of musicianship and sound mixing. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 16/06/2026In Charlotte to see the Beths tonight! I'm here too early, but I can hear them doing soundcheck inside so that's cool. They just played "Roundabout." 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Look at this insanely cool store display my wife made for the Angine de Poitrine albums that are being reissued on vinyl today. 030
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Speaking of Modest Mouse, the new album is decent but feels kind of all over the place, probably due to using multiple producers. Also maybe some of Isaac Brock's weakest lyrics at points. "Dogbed in Heaven/ Give It A Skeleton" and "Life's a Dream" are probably my favorite tracks. 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 09/06/2026Going to a lot of shows in the next week... Weird Al tonight, Modest Mouse tomorrow, the Beths next Tuesday, Claypool Lennon Delirium/Primus next Wednesday. 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 30/05/2026I think a recent update to the Gmail app has made it unusable on a Galaxy S8. It won't load anything or sync to my account. Real cool. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Eating at Taco Bell on my lunch break. Random teen: "Sir? Excuse me, sir?" Me: "...yes?" Random teen: "Do you work here?" Me: "No, I don't." Random teen: "Oh, well you look very educated." Me: "Thank you?" 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 26/05/2026Recently found out that my wife's mom is planning on selling her house (that we've been living in) by October so we have about 4 months to find a new place to live. Cooooool. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 24/05/2026When I worked at the battery store, I once had to replace the fill valve for our toilet and one of my employees offered to do it as he didn't mind doing some "light plumbing." I've had to do the same at home a couple times now and always think of it as having to do some light plumbing. 100
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 15/05/2026I recorded a whole album of music that I'm really proud of but am waiting for my wife to help me come up with some cool cover art for it. Considering the age of some of the songs, I've technically been working on it for almost 20 years. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 06/05/2026As if filling out an annual employee evaluation for myself isn't annoying enough, I just spent an hour doing it only for the page to reload and delete everything when I tied to save my progress. Yaaay, I get to type it all up again. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 06/05/2026Going to see Built to Spill tonight! I love that they've been playing in Charleston pretty regularly for the last 10 years or so. It's nice being able to see one of my favorite bands without having to travel out of state. 010
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 16/04/2026I'm ready to stop doing the thing where I think about having to take Sophie out and suddenly remembering she's gone. 001
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 12/04/2026Wrote and recorded a song about my dog yesterday with the intent of sharing it online but actually it's probably too sad. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 10/04/2026I'm always amazed at the ability of TMBG to consistently put out great music. This album is to dig. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 09/04/2026I'm not one to be sad on social media, but we lost our little gremlin Sophie a few days ago and it really sucks. I miss her a lot. I took this picture of her on the first day we got her in January 2017. She was already 7 years old and we somehow got to be with her for another 9. She was the best. 370
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Ashley and I watched the YouTube edition of Jeopardy the other day and you have no idea how excited I was to see Derrick Comedy mentioned in a clue. 101
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 01/04/2026Am I the only one who kind of misses when websites would do silly redesigns and stuff for April Fool's Day? I remember Dragonball fansites were really into it; Temple O' Trunks had some especially fun ones. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 21/03/2026I thought I could get through my life without ever having to go to a gender reveal party, but my wife's half-sister is having one today and we feel obligated to go because Family™. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 18/03/2026I'm always baffled by the music selection in my local Walmart. In the past couple weeks I've heard both "Jesus is Just Alright" and Korn's cover of "Word Up" while shopping. Though I think the oddest thing was hearing the Bad Lip Reading song "SEAGULLS! (Stop it Now)" in the store some years ago. 000
Matt @majintrunkz.bsky.social · 13/03/2026I'm not a fan of Doctor Who at all, but I AM a fan of the quest to find all the missing episodes of the series. Always cool to hear about more episodes being rediscovered in some random guy's collection in a basement somewhere. 010
