But yeah, luckily we still got time. I am happy with my chosen outfit for the expansion. But stumbling upon something "new" I didn't know about might make me waver and reconsider. xD

I actually am used to the coat silhouette on her with it being slim fit on her torso with a bit wider lower part so it does fit her general vibes, I think. The dye channels are difficult to handle with my main colours. But with others it works kinda nice.

Most other colours make the bottom colour a darker version of the chosen one. But that is not true for all hues and saturations you can choose from.

Compared to that, I would go with the Weeping City version with the dark greyish and red. 🤔 But yeah, the original version of this looks good on its own.

I was very much hoping the piece would retain its red colour on the bottom. But unfortunately it didn‘t… Her is the undyed and pure white version next to each other. And it‘s not like I dislike grey on her. But I dislike it when i use pure white because it is a contrast I do not want here. :(

If you want to undress her, maybe we should do this behind closed doors? 🫣Sorry! 🤣 But yeah, I can certainly do that and lend the clothes to Vin. 😌 And I agree that the green does look nice on this piece. Green and blue and some reds look nice.

The piece dyes really badly, imho. XD Too many other parts get changed as well. And the wool part is more grey in this piece than the other, which is also a bummer. Also only one dye channel. And white looked not good (the dark green part at the bottom turned into a medium grey…)!

I had no idea either. xD Normally, Eorzea Collection lists shared models on their page so I trusted them and didn't want to go through pages and pages of gear to see if they missed this. Should have done my research. Would have probably been less time than me farming that piece. 🙈

This is from HW alliance raid #2, the weeping city. But I got told there is a shared model of an leatherworker lvl 80 recipe for this which is dyeable. 😱 I didn’t find a shared model when I was farming that content… 🤣

Lol what? I seriously didn‘t find a shared model for this! XDD Thank you! Will try this out but I still think it won‘t be the final glam.

Here is btw another one I was considering for my Evercold MSQ glam at one point. But the fact that the top is not dyeable kinda ruins it for me. Even though it is still a strong contender.

I would very well assume that the areas above the clouds won‘t look/be cold that much. And then it depends how often we will be traveling to the surface. That is also why I chose a glam that is warm-ish but yet again not Garlemald suited at all. 🤭

I believe the logic is dice roll. xD Or the designer of the gear simply saying „I want this to be dyeable“. But I failed to see a logic there as well.

A loooooooot of Dungeon Gear is not dyeable. It is kinda insane. :C

I still haven't figured out if I want to do this for myself or not. Especially if I want to make two "adventuring/battle" glams or keep my first choice here and create a casual glam, that would be fitting. I guess I will decide after JP Fanfest, when we get maybe more info of the shard? 🤔
