Finally it's mushroom painting season, one of my favs! Here are some old gouache vs. colour pencils versions. Which one do you like best? #art

Painting Yavanna, from Tolkien's 'The Silmarillion' with watercolors and gouache. She turned out a bit radioactive, but who knows xD. Full video on my channel. #art

Small sneak peek of one of my watercolor sketchbook sessions. Why are watercolors so beautiful and yet so hard to control? 🥴 #art

New video on my channel! Obviously in Spanish, since that's the language I feel more confortable speaking. This one is all about painting a complex piece in watercolor and gouache. Anyway, RTs and support would be very appreciated! Link in the comments! #art

Not my best (Steve's face, hello???), but trying to emulate the vintage movie poster look with gouache in my sketchbook was super fun! #art

Testing various approaches with gouache, trying to find a style that feels personal enough, maybe something between cartoon & semirealism, I don't know. But I had to paint Anne Shirley Cuthbert at some point, she's too adorable not to! Might delete it later, since it's only a silly exercise. #art

'Seasons', another fun experiment with color pencils over a thin layer of gouache. I'm loving this approach so much I might consider opening commissions for this kind of work! #art

Done!!! Colored pencils over a thin gouache layer with some more gouache on top of the whole thing just for the final details, mostly highlights. What do you think? I'm rather liking this mixed media mindset. #art

Doing some colored pencil exercise on smooth Bristol paper. I experimented a bit with different tools and base layers. I'll elaborate on that in the comments, since it's a bit too long. #art

'The Astronomer II' This one took me over a month, it was my most ambitious work ever and at times, a pain in the ass. But what a wonderful learning experience! Now I know that I'm capable of way more than I once thought! Colored pencils over a layer of gouache on hot press watercolor paper. #art
