💞 GUEST SPOTLIGHT 💞 A spectacular writer who explores emotional depth. Their work will have you in deep thought and discussion for days. Please give a warm welcome to our guest writer, Kalcifer!

Kalcifer - Writer

About: I'm Kalcifer! I've been a fan of both Dangan Ronpa and magical girls for over a decade now, so getting to participate in this zine is my excuse to tie you all to chairs and talk about some of my longest-lasting interests. Try to escape and the hostage (my DR character of choice) gets it.

Favourite Magical Girl Series: I have such a soft spot for Smile Precure - it's the first Precure I watched, and it has just the right balance of goofiness and genuine warmth.

💞 GUEST SPOTLIGHT 💞 Time for our guest merch artist, meet Poketrio. Their bold use of lining and unique style will create such striking digital merch!

Poketrio - Merch Artist

About: I'm Poketrio, and I love getting to indulge in making art for this franchise whenever I can! Although I'm more of an OC/ multifandom artist nowadays, DR holds a special place in my heart to this day.

Favourite Magical Girl Series: PPPIDWBAMG (Pretty Please I dont wanna be a Magical Girl) is one I adore for its subversion of the trope, but Madoka Magica is also one I've actually wanted to delve into as well!

Bio: Hiya!! Im so excited to be a contributor of this zine!! Magical girls is a HUGE INTEREST FOR ME!! I love the fun designs and the message of friendship!!

Mahoronpa: A Magical Girl x Danganronpa Zine @mahoronpazine.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

💞 GUEST SPOTLIGHT 💞 Our first guest is known for her stunning style and vibrant colours. An Ultimate Magical Girl with her own Danganronpa Precure AU! Please welcome the lovely @spectralreplica.bsky.social as our Cover Artist!

Spectralreplica - Cover Artist

Bio: I've been into magical girls since catching Winx Club on tv as a kid and then binging Sailor Moon in 10-minute chunks on YT. I followed Danganronpa during the unofficial translation thread, fell off for years, and then got really into DRv3 in 2018. In the DR fandom, I'm probably most known for my Precure or MadoMagi AUs.

Favourite Magical Girl Series: My absolute favorite magical girl series is Tokyo Mew Mew! I've been a fan since middle school and been involved in the fandom as long as I've been posting online, including all the spinoffs and the reboot. Madoka Magica is probably the series I've re-watched the most, though.

Karakuri - Writing Mod

About: Hi! I like words. They weave dreams, sway hearts, and bring magic into our lives.

Favourite Magical Girl Series: It's hard to choose - I like the tightly-written psychological drama of Madoka Magica, the surreal theatrical allegory of Revolutionary Girl Utena, and the dark fantasy storybook feel of Tweeny Witches.
