We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary earlier this month. Cornflowers were my bridal bouquet so I am always super happy to see them at the markets.

I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since Hope on the Stage tour kicked off in Seoul. Such an incredible concert. I was so blessed to see JHope command every second he was on stage. He is incredible, I was totally Hoseoked. #JHope #BTS

Selfie in front of the KSPO arena concert venue in Seoul. There is a large red banner on the exterior of the arena with a black image of JHope from BTS.

JHope is on stage in his red leather and faux fur outfit. The lighting is red, the screen is red and he is talking to his adoring fans I between songs.

Suwon was on my very first list of places I wanted to go way back in 2019 when I help move my daughter to Seoul. Six years later I finally made it and it did not disappoint.

Fortress wall with a watchtower. The sky is overcast and there are bushes and tall flowering reeds to the side.

Another view of the fortress wall with autum leaves and a brown grass verge.

Inside one of the fortress gates. I am standing I grin to a wooden platform. The roof is painted in the traditional red, green and blue patterns.

Starfield library in the mall. It’s three floors of bookshelves and is quite spectacular.

My last few days. Only a week left in Seoul, I’m feeling sad but homesick at the same time.

Night view of the Hyundai outlet mall next to mt daughter’s apartment. The Christmas lights are up, their glow lighting up the massive silver sculpture of a torso.

Yellow ginko leaves covering the footpath on our street.

Found JK’s poster in the local Calvin Klein store. Couldn’t resist taking a selfie, the shop assistant was very understanding.

Shipping company packing up the apartment. There are about 10 or so white packing boxes stacked in the middle of the floor.

Saw Hope on the Stage again last night. Just as much fun second time around. What I especially found poignant was that the bus to the theatre in Yongsan also took us past HYBE, the house that BTS built. #JHope #BTS

The entrance to CGV theatres in Yongsan. The floor has been decorated with Hope on the Stage branding and there is a neon photo zone with a large poster on the back wall.

We got a commemorative poster, ticket and Hobi money. Jhope is in a white tank top, white light weight hoodie arms up and his signature angelic smile. He has love in his eyes.

Blurred screen shot of Hobi performing Jack in The Box, red leather coat, sparkly gloves and aura off the charts.

My friend Jinya and I standing in the phot zone after the movie holding our posters.

Had lunch with the family of my daughter’s co- teacher. So wonderful to have a regular family meal. Mumma and Papa, sisters and their husbands, not forgetting Eve the puppy too. Only two weeks left in South Korea, as sad as I feel I am also ready for my home.

Pic of the cake box and flowers we got for our hosts.

Eve the Japanese Spitz looking back at the camera all white and fluffy.

Table set with an everyday Korean banquet. Bulgolgi, japchae, doenjang jjigae, kimchi jeon, fruit salad. So delicious.
