Decided to continue my list of IWTV/TVL cast & team interviews for 2025. Can anyone help with October? 🙏 Trying to compile all the NYCC interviews. Press conference is good, but no panels recaps. (And not that unofficial video yet) Only have 8 so far — what have I missed?

One more thing—the fact that Assad and Jennifer flew in like an hour beforehand, Rolin couldn’t even leave the set, the noticeable exhaustion from all involved—they moved mountains to make this panel happen. That’s just dedication & love & pure excitement to SHARE this story 💙

Coming out of hibernation to say— Yes. 1000x yes. I’m so glad they actually released the teaser. So happy for this season. Everything seems incredible. I’m so, so here for the mayhem, the darkness, the humor and the fucked up, screaming, unyielding insanity of it all 💙💙💙

So the TVL panel is finally up on Prime (with the AMC+ subscription)… but I still don’t see on the AMC+ app 🤷‍♀️ And the thumbnail image is the from Talamasca panel 🤦‍♀️😆🙃

International markets for IWTV/TVL on Netflix! 💙 “This renewal also brings some of our franchise titles, including forthcoming seasons, to Netflix subscribers in *select international* markets.” Not sure what the select int’l markets are for Netflix—but it’s great news!

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 10/09/2025

It looks like they finally added the Talamasca panel from SDCC to the actual AMC+ app, not just Prime or Apple TV. But still no sign of the TVL panel 🤷‍♀️

I never knew the story here! I always wondered why the QotD comic was never released as a full compilation (I have that version of the TVL comic that I found 20 years ago!)…I’d love if some company licensed this & re-released the full comic in print!💙🤞(nerdist.com/article/lost...)

This was interesting but mostly sad. I think there’s a small number of people in this fandom who’ve taken it way too far but are very loud. The recurring theme I’ve seen is these are people who’re obsessed w/ being “right”, no matter how they talk to people or what harm they do.

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

There’s some odd editing in this… parts removed that aren’t the trailers or clips…and from what I remember, I don’t think it’s like loud crowd moments edited out. Maybe it’s more tangents or spoilers edited out instead?

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 07/09/2025

Watching the Talamasca panel on AMC+ on Prime (TVL panel is still not up 🤷‍♀️🙃) — and I like this title graphic design. I didn’t notice it on the trailer they released earlier this week, I think it was darker so the background wasn’t as clear.

I’ve been travelling this week, so I’ve missed everything that’s been going on!! But what happened with the SDCC panel for TVL?! Why did they only release Daryl Dixon and Talamasca?? 🤷‍♀️

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 02/09/2025

Think there were only 4 interviews with IWTV/TVL cast or team in August — compared with the 24 interviews last month!😆 But I’ve been very MIA and scattered this month, so please let me know if I’ve missed something! (www.tumblr.com/maharetscomp...)

Some data on IWTV’s Netflix run… IWTV S1 had a total of 16.9 million hours viewed from Aug 2024 — June 2025. Seems great objectively! But unfortunately, it was one of the least viewed AMC shows in this 2024 deal 🙁 MW saw 35.8 million hours viewed in the same time frame…

This was great to see today! Love this internship program with the Indigenous Film Academy on IWTV TVL S3. I hope they do more internships & collaborations!

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

I’ve been incredibly busy these past couple weeks & haven’t had much time for IWTV/TVL digging… and from what I’ve seen in haphazard glances on twt, I haven’t missed much 😆 (Beyond Eric’s crazy IG post — again, somehow he’s consistently the most online of IWTV cast/crew 🤣)

0110

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 24/08/2025

New to me— BTS video from IWTV S2, using 3D models for the motorcycle explosion scene 👀

1172

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 21/08/2025

The Netflix news for IWTV S2 is *fantastic*. I’m so glad AMC has extended the partnership and added S2. It will only mean more & more exposure for the show 📈 Now — for vanity metrics sake — could it finally crack the Netflix Top 10?? 🤞💙

0221

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 17/08/2025

So looks like those S3 set photos were actual paparazzi 👀 From an outlet called “The Image Direct”… which it looks like the Daily Mail has now bought… Well, that’s a good sign the show has is now big enough to be on paps’ radar! But I’m not linking to the Daily Mail 😆

Story/Ramble 🧵—Back in the 00s, when I was at the height of my TVC obsession, I would always tell my friends to start with TVL novel. Then read QoTD. Then come back to IWTV. Then TotBT onwards. I didn’t like IWTV the novel as a story. The overwhelming grief and depression was—

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

IWTV/TVL is the only show where I don’t care about “spoilers”, because for me there’s nothing to spoil. There’s just some detail & timelines changes. Like Rolin Jones didn’t walk around SDCC with his tattered TVL to be like—Surprise! They all die! 😆 The general story is the same

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 09/08/2025

“…The cast of Interview with the Vampire entering Ballroom 20 to deafening applause…” — from the AMC quarterly earnings call yesterday. AMC needs to do maximum promotion for S3!! There is clearly an audience for it…

0201

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 09/08/2025

The IWTV panel from SDCC will be released on Sept 4 on AMC.

So apparently this is new‼️ IWTV S2 now has a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes!! 🎉💙 And the show overall is up to 99%!! 🥳

BTS images of IWTV S2 that I don’t think I’ve seen — of the massive LED screens they used for the motorcycle scenes. lbbonline.com/news/compass...

As much as I want to believe AMC will release The Vampire Lestat album on vinyl—I still can’t believe they never released the S1 or S2 soundtracks on vinyl. They didn’t even release S2 on CD. Their physical media game has been historically terrible, so I’m guarded optimistic now.

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

As a palate cleanser after GoT, I’m re-watching IWTV S2 for the first time this year! This show is just so absurdly well-written & intricate & plotted out. But I forgot about the letter questions from 2x2!! Will we see when Lestat wrote that? And we will meet Roget the 4th?? 😄

2180

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 04/08/2025

I finished Game of Thrones. I now understand why everyone hates the final season—because I too hated the final season. 😆 I’m so glad Jacob Anderson moved on from that atrocious storytelling to IWTV S1! 💙

Need this momentum & planning from AMC for IWTV/TVL!! —S4 renewal before S3 is released 🤞🕯️🕯️🕯️

Hi Bluesky—sorry I couldn’t hang here over the last couple weeks during SDCC. It was all too much & I could only type my insane excitement on one app. And unfortunately twt still the place for fastest news 🙁 Not sure if I’ll still post here regularly. I feel like I can just manage one app.

PSA for anyone who follows me — expect my posts to be very sporadic, over-excited and vaguely incoherent over the next few days! 💙

Local press article about the IWTV shoot at the Sheraton in Hamilton a couple weeks ago. Apparently they filmed in two locations at the hotel — the Loft Lounge and a conference room. They also used special screens on the windows. 👀 www.thespec.com/entertainmen...

Two years ago, I did one of the crazier things of my life. I flew to San Diego for the day to go to the IWTV offsite the Street of Immortality. I didn’t have an SDCC badge—I hadn’t even reserved the event ticket myself! Someone I only knew online transferred me one of theirs! 1/2

So thrilled to Interview with the Vampire is finally an Emmy nominated show!! 💙While it should have nominated in every category (for S1 & S2), this is a significant milestone for the show.

The sheer amount of press & coverage for IWTV in two weeks will be insane. Combined with all the S3 production news, I think this July might be the most *hype* I’ve seen on social — beyond when the show is actually airing. Think it’s even going to top that crazy April press week.

1170

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 10/07/2025

Reading the official press release from AMC for SDCC — The panel is from 4:30pm — 6:00pm!! So hopefully 45 minutes each for Talamasca and IWTV. No autograph signing unfortunately! www.amcnetworks.com/press-releas...

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 08/07/2025

Putting it out in the universe—and no, I haven’t seen confirmation—but I would bet *a lot* that IWTV S3 will film on location in NOLA this season. Even if just for a week shoot like in S2. The IWTV team loves NOLA & I think they will try to incorporate the city whenever possible.

0150

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 08/07/2025

AMC has failed so spectacularly in the merch department for IWTV, my expectations are buried six feet under. But if they don’t release any official tour merch they have lost their minds. Just do it — just take our money!! 😆😭

5331

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

Oh they added Raglan James to the Talamasca site… I don’t think anyone spotted Justin Kirk on the set though?? And maybe he’ll be back for IWTV S3 👀

0221

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

There’s honestly too much to keep track of between IWTV S3 filming and SDCC news and it’s only Monday afternoon!! How am I supposed to make it through the week?? I need a nap. I need a clone. 😆

2230

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 04/07/2025

I was hoping the IWTV production would start to make local press! This is the most breaking news in Ontario — to me 😆 Also very intriguied by this Corktown Tavern location, a new one to me as well… www.thespec.com/entertainmen...

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

With all the S3 news, I forgot to post this — the roundup of all Interview with the Vampire interviews in June. There were 10 interviews in June, which brings it to 43 IWTV interviews in total. Anticipating a lot more to come this month at SDCC 🤞💙

1121

Ari | The Vampire Lestat 2026 @maharetscompound.bsky.social · 03/07/2025

Rolin & co talked about this in interviews, but nice to see it confirmed. Kate Rhodes James, whose agency worked on a lot of the lead/supporting character casting in IWTV S1 & S2, has been back for casting in IWTV S3 💙 Hoping for some official casting announcements at SDCC🤞

Did we know Cynthia Bailey (from the Real Housewives of Atlanta) had a part in IWTV S1?! The character was called Nina… but I guess they were cut?? I wonder who the character was? 👀 pagesix.com/2022/07/18/c...
