I have a new poem out today in the anthology Home Constellations called “The Mythmaker.” You can read it in the Kindle preview of the book here: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0GV...

Excerpt of the poem: When I was small, you would tell me myths of the first settlers to Teagueland, their battles against venomous gasses, their treaties with all-seeing stone, their pranks on Polaris and their betrayals against the string of hereditary cardinals. These stories were embedded into your basic code,

My poem Wildfire came out in Nightingale & Sparrow’s Bonfire issue today. I wrote it during the period when wildfire smoke covered Ottawa, and shortly after the fire in my building. I was inspired by the fire in Parable of the Sower and Kim Stanley Robinson’s The Ministry for the Future.
