Great one man, one hour show in a pub in Swanlinbar County Cavan last night >>>

@VoltPaperScissors I have used LEDs/batteries a lot with groups of students, but there's always a logistical problem as to how to "take away" the glowie your idea solves it very elegantly, thank you

it started with discovering the tear and grabbing a threaded needle from a hotel vanity kit (woops), with the intention of tacking the tear to hold it til I got it to the machine ... then it turned itself into running stitch that will probably hold it for longer ... untidy but useful ... all […]

pigeons gorging on elderberries is good gun to watch as they are waaaaay too heavy for the slender branches, keep sliding off but gamely climbing back up. I hear Chumbawumba in my head "I get knocked down but I get up again"

The judges responded with unusual eloquence. Walking, Justice PS Narasimha wrote, is "the simplest of the simple human activity, inextricably connected to life". Roads therefore impose a corresponding duty on the state to provide safe footpaths. "The fundamental right to walk on demarcated footpaths shall override the privilege of a motorised vehicle," he declared.
