Any hero as portrayed in a fan-made project will always more closely reflect the traits that a populous deems admirable than that from a comic book or movie. Take for example fan-made Peter Parker, taking down flock cameras and transitioning genders, while the film versions serve more as propaganda.

I think Egress should've been a two part episode, and episode one should've begun with a scene with Finn and Peebles hanging out and talking about the concept of growing up, during which the word "egress" is brought up by Finn and explained my PB.
