Kevin Y(President) has been working on an exclusive mounting project utilizing billet aluminum components milled on our own MAGLab CNC. So far, the surface finish on our internal test pieces is exquisite compared to what we are used to from our manual mill.

three milling features of varying depths to test the capabilities of the CNC mini mill. Each feature was milled using a 1/4" end mill (12.7mm).

Brandon's improved inverter data sender has been completed. The old board nearly overheats and draws enough current when communicating to dim the stock inverter display panel. This new board uses an efficient switching power supply to reduce lost heat and improve efficiency.

We have successfully decoded information from our inverter control panel using libsigrokdecode. The protocol looks like someone took inspiration from ws281x. Check out our repository: github.com/MAGLaborator...

A member of the space bought a CO2 monitor but plugged it into the wrong USB-C wall wart. The wall wart outputs 12v without verifying whether the connected device is PD compatible. This blew an LDO inside the CO2 monitor and possibly other components... LDO replacement did not work.

There is a JST-XH surface mount male connector on the left.
There are four SO-23 components on the left.

In the middle is a mysterious "CO2" detector. There are also two LDOs in the middle with the bottom one being replaced with a deadbugged SO-89.

There are two TSSOP packages on the board. One presumably MCU device on the right and one LCD driver on the bottom.

We had a very interesting car whatever and found out that the spark tube seals on our member's van was leaking. The same member also re-adjusted their valves.

the spark plug tubes are plugged with paper towels to help prevent debris from ending up in the combustion chambers

An update: the printer works. Temperature and retraction settings still need to be fine-tuned.

QED print head on the CR-10S with an attached v6 knockoff and silicone sock. The QED parts are printed using translucent red with an orange hue. The Bowden tube from Capricorn is orange and black zip ties are used to secure the wiring loom to it. The 3d printer has grid patterned PEI on its flexible spring steel bed.
