a.co/d/0b7DdD7P Once I moved past my fancy deck box phase this is where I landed. $3 per deck box. Completely clear so you Can display a commander or otherwise make them distinguishable without opening them.

It is absolutely beautiful. I picked one up for my commander deck with her at the helm.

The issue is there are scenarios where stealing the spell isn't what you want to do and if it's your only counterspell you're stuck with it being a 50/50. It as fun card but not necessarily a safe one if you're looking for a counterspell for your deck.

moxfield.com/decks/719IBc... It does the standard Susan thing of not playing real 1-3 cost cards and tries to curve into a 4 mana ramp spell. I update it during Dragonstorm to play a lot of dragons to make the red Dragonstorm playable.

I think the biggest advantage of Attractions is them being artifacts. And golgari just doesn't have the inate artifact synergy to pull it off. I think it's a big miss on WotCs part. And it's sad we are probably never getting more attraction support.

Magile @magile.bsky.social · 30/11/2025

Having played Myra, attractions are not that good and etb/attacks is not often enough to warrant how mediocre everything else is

I've looked at gamer multiple times, but my biggest issue is always that his big payoff of board control basically doesn't work unless you're playing acorn attractions.

I think the Naya Tifa scales a lot better in a 4 person game. I like the monoG Tifa a lot, but they really strike me as a commander who will kill one person really quickly then struggle to do anything afterwards.

I typically say to go for the Gundam Movie Trilogy if they think they'll like gundam. If they aren't sure go for Iron-Blooded Orphans.

I have a passive interest in legacy but it feels like one of the hardest formats to get into if you don't have an enormous amount of money to dump on the buy-ins

Magile @magile.bsky.social · 14/08/2025

Honestly the cool part about Myra is that the attractions effects almost don't matter. You roll once at the beginning of main phase to see what attractions you visit. Myra just has you put spells under attractions and cast (yes cast!) them when you visit the attraction.

I was planning on building her, specifically because of how beautiful this art is. I find her to be a little bit too boring gameplay wise unfortunately, so I ended up building Myra the Magnificent, where Veyran works really well.

Tbh I'm kinda convinced not even WotC wanted this set but it was like forced on them as part of the overall Marvel collab.
