One last thing I never mentioned: at the end of this year (November or December), I’m going to start multistreaming! I’ll stay on Twitch, but have the same streams happening on my YouTube VODs channel. (I’m also considering vertical streams on other sites…? So stay tuned!)

Yo!

First, to summarize my exhaustion and mild burnout:

I have an overnight job and, a couple weeks ago, we had our big inventory day I had to prepare for. It was a bitch at times, but I made it through fine (and my reward was Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave launching the day of, so there’s that LOL).

Next to that, I’ve had occasional issues with getting proper sleep in the day and/or in my “days” off, along with everything else. It wouldn’t be TOO hard if it weren’t for certain appointments or chores getting thrown my way at the last minute, even when I telegraph any of my plans WAY in advance. For example, last Friday I wanted to stream then too, and told my parents my plans. Even so, I was not only asked to still mow both lawns of their house AND to pull weeds, but to do so that very same day (A N D I clocked out of my last shift for the week that morning, giving my only so much time to sleep before that afternoon).

Now I’ve had points where I had to get related, yet much worse incidents off my chest. So because of that I want to say that, while my parents have been less volatile and toxic recently (or I’m just getting better at navigating when “it’s that time again”), it’s left me at a point where I’ve still failed to put my foot down, regardless of if it’s related to an actual problem or not.

I’m going to work on doing better at that, and slowly coming back to more “regular” streams. First it was a little under two hours last Saturday, and now I plan to stream on both my days/nights off this week (for two hours at the very least, otherwise for much longer). What I do next week depends on how this turns out.

Next, I have some important updates on my current playthroughs being streamed:

Getting the bad news out first: I’m going to temporarily shelve Yakuza 3 (the OG Remastered). We’ll restart it at a later date. (*Although this is a game I’ll be sparsely streaming anyway, the same goes for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream will need - the Miis I have on the island we initially started will be immediately carried over when it comes back!)

I initially planned to bring it out of hiatus after this last February/March. The Kiwami remake was coming out and many people had no interest in it (if you know you know), myself included. But I didn’t realize until the last minute, more or less, that even playing the original around that time might be tasteless. It was put on hiatus and thus replaced by Judgment, a fantastic game from RGG (and that’s not even going into its sequel, which is apparently even better). But enough time has passed that it’s going to be difficult to get back into without starting over.

Again, I WILL restart and finish the game on stream at a later date; I just need to stop stringing it along as though it’s currently ongoing.

Majora’s Mask and SMT 3 Nocturne (HD), in contrast, will continue as is! I know there’s been points where progress would be going at a clip. I have had several learning or grinding curves to get over in both games, the reasons for each being very different (again, mostly me learning and relearning as I go), but I still love them.

So with the original Y3 to be restarted further down the line, here’s the good news: we’ll start a new game to take that coveted third-playthrough spot!

This weekend we’re going to stick to MM and SMT3 (if not also something completely casual, likely Fortnite if so), but anytime after that, we’ll bring in a new game I’m VERY excited for: Devil May Cry 5.

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) I’m sorry again for all the hiccups and cancellations in a last few weeks; I’ve explained as best but quickly as I could below, and provided other major updates. This weekend (Friday, 3 PM MDT + Saturday, 2 PM MDT), I’ll be back to stream. SYS! 🩷

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Live Now: It took me forever, so I'm sorry again for that. Today, we return to Termina and take on the plight within the Great Bay region! Majora's Mask is BACK!

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

UPDATE: I’ll need to push the stream back by 30 minutes (~34 from now), but we’re still good for Majora’s Mask today! SYS!

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I initially said that today AND tomorrow were good to go for streaming, but sadly I got completely screwed over for today. Tomorrow’s stream will be good (and Majora’s Mask is still the name of the game), but I’m sorry for having to cancel today’s. ❤️

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) At long last, Persona 5 (and, technially, P5 Royal) has made it to Fortnite. It's going to need WAY more characters in future waves, but for now I'm satisfied - Ann Takamaki can finally chug jug with YOU! LIVE NOW!

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) This Saturday at 2 PM MDT, we flood Fortnite with ANN TAKAMAKI! She finally made it, woooooo! 🥰 The following weekend (Oct. 2 at 3 PM + Oct. 3 at 2 PM), we’ll return to Majora’s Mask and SMT III (HD). Seeya there! 🩷

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

Regrettably, I’ll need to cancel today’s stream. I’ll be honest in that I had a big week at work, so I’m way more exhausted than I thought I’d be. But with things coming back to normal at my job, I’ll be back this next Friday/Saturday, same starting times. SYT! 🩷

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) Live Now: Having not touched the recent Fortnite update until now (partly because I can't buy the KH bundle), IHDK how different it is from before...nothing ventured, nothing gained. Let's have ourselves a good old brainrotting time!

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

If you’re wondering about the agenda, we’re looking at more SMT III and Majora’s Mask. However, depending on when the P5R collab drops, expect a Fortnite segment (if not a full stream) the Saturday that follows its release.

000

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) I’ve got a couple projects I want to focus on, but I’m not going on a full break anytime soon! For the next two weeks, we’re streaming both Fridays (Sep. 18/25) at 3 PM MDT, as well as those Saturdays (Sep. 19/26) at 2 PM MDT! I’ll see you there! 💖

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

We're live to send off the weekend! With SMT III, we found the Diet Building. The Freedom Ending is now the most likely scenario to close our playthrough, BUT True Demon isn't impossible (just improbable)... Following that will be Fortnite; we MUST prepare for the P5R collab!

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

*Update: for my stream playthrough, Sonic Frontiers has come to an end. I'll have to go back for stuff in my own time, but overall, even with some jank or confusion to be had I liked it a lot! So let's follow that up with dinking around in Fortnite Zero Build BR.

000

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) For real this time. No joke. Legitimately. Seriously. With great certainty. Sonic Frontiers ENDS! And I'll have finally beaten my first Sonic game! (We might also play something else after; will update if so and what.) LET'S FUCKING ROCK!

We did not, in fact, beat Sonic Frontiers…seeya this Friday (I STG we’re on the Titan boss rush so I like this game but for our stream playthrough we NEED to wrap it up)!

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

(twitch.tv/magicmaddie) It's been a while since I livestreamed on a Wednesday, but I'm here now. Today we're beating Sonic Frontiers' DLC, and with that we FINALLY close the book on another playthrough. (We might do something else after too?) Let's go!

coup de foudre [1/5]

First page of a five-page comic. The first panel features Yusuke in his summer uniform, standing beneath the awning of Leblanc while a torrential downpour overtakes the scene. Behind him, the wall lantern illuminates the store sign which reads "Closed". Yusuke thinks to himself, "So much for seeking respite at Leblanc." The second panel depicts a close up of Yusuke's eyes as he makes a downcast expression. He continues his thought: "How disappointing."
In the third panel, he sighs and laments his circumtances. "I don't have the money to spare on another umbrella." he thinks, as someone in the distance says "Hey" in a failed attempt to catch his attention. "Though, I'm already wet, so it makes little difference-" "What're you standin’ outside for, Yusuke?" a voice interrupts his thoughts. Yusuke turns his head toward the voice in the fourth panel.

* - No promises that this is happening this week, but we'll still get back to Majora's Mask (aaaaannnnd the OG Yakuza 3) very soon! It's only with Fortnite that I can't say either way whether we'll dink around in BR on there again soon.

TBH, I would say the CHARACTER WRITING for last place is good, even better than numbers 100 and 101. But frankly, I think my loathing him - however intentional it was on P5’s part - took priority with every single matchup with him. So bear that in mind, LOL.

MagicMaddie @magicmaddie.bsky.social · 11/07/2026

I wasn’t sure if my Persona character rankings (only 3-5 FOR NOW) would ever be shaken up, and I think they did! But only a little, LOL. This is mostly favoritism, with writing quality or “things going on” breaking a few ties. (My FULL ranking is in reply!) Go try it here: sortr.io/sorter/perso...
