I’ve bought a new sketchbook, which I’d like to use not only to practise but also to experiment more. #art #illustration #catart #sketchbook #sketchbookart

I had a go at a new linocut. As autumn and winter are just round the corner, I decided to create a cat’s kitchen. #art #linocut #printmaking #catart #cozyvibes

Happy Black Cat Appreciation Day! Black cats are cute in their own way, too. As I have black cats, this day has a special personal significance for me. #blackcatappreciationday #catart #art #cuteillustration

I did a little test using Clip Studio Paint. I wanted to see if I could create a digital image with a similar feel to linocut printing. It’s actually a mix of linocut and ink, but I like the texture. #art #illustration #catart #catillustration #cuteart #clipstudiopaint

I wanted to screen-print a design onto a bag. At least, that’s what the design looks like so far. 😺 This is Alfred, the bookshop-owning cat-slime. He’d like to share his love of books with others. #art #illustration #cuteillustration #catillustration #catart #natureillustration #fantasyart

I’ve finished carving my cat tower. The test print is still a bit rough around the edges and the ink hasn’t been applied very evenly yet, but I’m already very pleased with my first linocut. 😺 #art #linocut #printmaking #fantasyart #catart

I’m having a go at making a bookmark using linocut. It’s a cat tower from my cat-themed world. I might have gone a bit overboard with the details, but at least I’m learning just how far I can push it. 😅 #art #linocut #printmaking #fantasyart #catart

I’ve had a go at carving stamps. It’s not perfect yet, but I’m really enjoying it. 😊 Next, I want to try my hand at linocut printing. #catart #art #stampmaking

This little tiger cat slime is happy to see you. Tiger cats mostly live in villages in the jungle or in the forest. But there are also some that live in larger cities. Some are sociable, some want peace and quiet, to each their own. #illustration #cuteart

Splash, splash... That's water cat slime. Water cats love jumping through puddles in the rain. They don't really need umbrellas, but this little fellow saw the other residents and thought their umbrellas were cute. So he made his own. #illustration #cuteart

This is a forest cat slime. There are different types of forest cats. You can recognise this one by its small antlers. An icy wind has chilled this little fellow to the bone. I feel for him; I am also looking forward to spring. #illustration #cuteart

I am currently working on new stickers for my shop, and I also have a new race for my world: the cat slimes. They are cheerful, mischievous, but also helpful creatures. They live their lives at their own pace. Their appearance varies depending on the region. #art #illustration #cuteart

I have a new banner! Enchanted Cat Forest is the name of my project/story that I am currently creating. It is a fantasy cat continent populated by a wide variety of cats. Milo, Alton and Eivor live in the Enchanted Forest in the village of Maplegarde. More characters and locations will follow.

Magician Cat @magiciancat.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

This is Eivor. She is a seamstress and lives in Maplegarde, the same village where Milo and Alton live. She is currently cleaning. The picture is a mixed media piece created using coloured pencils and watercolours.

My shop is open. I would be delighted if you would drop by. However, as I am still a beginner and the US customs situation is a bit too much for me, I am not currently shipping to the US. Perhaps next year.
