In case you missed it, Trump just sent Marines to LA! This is not the National Guard (he did that on Friday). Today it is actual Marines. This was against Governor Newsome’s objection. This is illegal. The Marines did not refuse this unlawful order.

If we want him impeached and convicted we have to take back the House and flip the Senate in a tidal wave. To remove takes 67 Senators. We have 47. 20 Republicans are up for reelection in 2026. We need to win ALL of them without losing a single Dem. There are 13 Dems also up for reelection.

Not necessarily. If you think that AOC is the only fighter you aren’t paying attention. I would nominate Jamie Raskin. There are others as well. I wouldn’t oppose AOC. I admire her moxie and intelligence. But too many on the left are so star-struck with her that they ignore other strong Dems.

“Reciprocal” tariffs is Trump Speak for “Ooops, I started a trade war and now I don’t know how to get out of it.” For some reason Trump likes the word “reciprocal” and uses it whenever he can. I think he thinks that this middle school level bit of vocabulary is “fancy” and makes him look smart.

Am I the only one who saw the insane presser with Bibi? He announced that the US is taking Gaza, removing the people, and then turning it into a Trump real estate project, which he called “The Riviera of the Middle East.” It wasn’t even clear that he was acknowledging Israeli sovereignty over it.
