Now that I take both pole dance and aerial hoop classes, my favourite thing is showing people the huge bruises on my arms and telling them about how the bruises on my legs hurt so much that I can barely walk — and then say ”It’s sooo much fun, you should try it!” They always look so horrified 😂

I know we probably should be wary of the increasing gamification of our hobbies, but watching numbers go up sure helps my motivation! I’ve been trying to fight off reading slumps since high school and #StoryGraph is helping. And as a bonus I’m reading so many good books and feeling way happier! 📚💙

I’m rereading #Babel and tried to look up if R.F. Kuang has ever explicitly answered whether Robin is gay or bi. Instead, I found several people saying they didn’t pick up on him being either. I don’t understand. How can so many people miss a whole subplot?? The hints literally start in chapter 3!

Additional context: 1. We live in Sweden, so there are eight big parties and several smaller ones to choose from. 2. There were some other yellow/orange flags that I was willing to look past (at least enough to give him a chance), but that discussion made me realise that he’s not for me.

In other news, after having bought it years ago, I’m finally reading ”The Milky Way — An Autobiography Of Our Galaxy” by @goastromo.bsky.social and it’s really interesting, surprisingly funny, and well-written enough that even someone with a cold and a light fever can follow along 🌌
