My "terrorist" friend Cath and I spent the day doing non terroristy things in Selby and Goole visited Selby Abbey then onto Goole to see the Helios artwork which has been really hyped up. it was very disappointing . But we laughed a lot because the day didn't go as planned not at any moment 🤣

Saw an exhibition about the history of the Quakers who have been in the area since 1653. Also the origins of Keighley (mentioned in the Doomsday Book) took its name from a family long since extinct. Cyhha which later became Chichelai (the clearing belonging to Cyhha) love the history of place names

I went to a fundraiser in Hebden Bridge listening to beautiful voices from around the World and some Jazz as well to support two charities - We are not numbers helping young Palestinian writers & Gaza Sunbirds a para cycling team based in the Gaza Strip helping people with disabilities.

Today I went to the Stitch Their Names event in Leeds, a very powerful and moving exhibition that commemorates those poor souls killed in Gaza. The black thread represents the men, the red thread the women and green thread the children and babies. There were panels with blood lines erased 😭

We marched as usual, then to the World Peace flame, off to a right to protest meeting with speakers from the Filton 25, local activists & Mothin Ali Green Deputy leader. We dealt with the aggressive far right, but in stark contrast we met young people giving out flowers & sweets spreading kindness 🫶
