This was absolutely excellent. What a start to 2025 reading streak. Cooper was one of the dreamiest LIs in a long while. I cried so much at the end but loved every minute. Highly, highly recommend. So charming, original, funny and warm. Mr Yoon 😭🩷🫶🏻

*taps mic* I FINISHED EDITS! 😭 I stopped being proud of this book last year. It felt like a story I was almost able to tell, but not quite. Like it had legs but didn't know how to run. These neck-breaking edits made me fall back in love with my OG characters.

This year, I signed with an agent & got vague publishing news. But you know what I'm most proud of? Writing a book out of my comfort zone and finding exactly where I want to go creatively 🩷 And not giving up. That's probably the most important one.

I DID IT! 😭🫶🏻 I know authors probably shouldn't have favourites but this book pushed me out of my comfort zone, especially during editing. It is my favourite - though if you ask me in 6 months, you're likely going to get a different answer 🙈 But for now, bye bye book 🥺🩷

If you're looking for a developmental editor, you can't go wrong with @rebeccaacarter.bsky.social. Her thorough report on HUS blew me away. This book is so special to me & took me a bit to choose who I wanted to work with on dev edits but I'm really glad it was her; she got my vision for it :) 🫶🏻

I FINISHED WRITING MY HISTORICAL ROMANTASY!!! 😭 What a wild ride. It started as a book to distract myself from querying and waiting for some exciting news (which I hope to share soon!). But it ended wholly capturing my heart and mind. This book is the slow burn historical romantasy of my dreams.
