Happy #GarWeek! I saw my first gar at the Audubon Aquarium in New Orleans in January. Such cool fish!

One year since I became a Formula 1 fan because of the drain cover incident

F1 course marshall in orange coveralls bending over to look at a hole in the track. A drain cover came loose and impacted a driver’s car. The hole has white debris around it. White street lane markings and a turn arrow are visible on the track.

And last, but most certainly not least, I have a 12 year old toothless cat named Gwen Stefani! She was a stray for (allegedly) over a decade. Gwen gave me a fright by making her sweet escape twice in two weeks this summer. She loves talking, licking my forehead, and being a massive diva!

A fun fact is that I’ve been to the Yukon! I did my degree capstone on pollen spores in ice cores as an atmospheric proxy. Core collection was scrubbed but I had a blast spending 3 weeks in Alaska and the Yukon with my classmates! My profile picture is of me at the Kluane Lake station in the Yukon

I spent a summer studying trace gas aerosols at NASA GSFC after my freshman year, with the rest of my time being at HQ! I had the joy of interning in the JWST Program Office when the telescope came online, evaluating institutional diversity in astro, and supporting the Habitable Worlds Observatory!
