Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 14/10/2026I'm sure in a year from now hopefully things will be better and maybe some meta/psvr exclusives will move over but rn don't worry ya'll you are not missing out on anything if you didn't get a frame yet lolol 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Pros: Looks good, streams good, very lightweight and the hour and a half you get of wireless vr is pretty cool 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 14/10/2026the glasses extension is super loose, i've been waiting a MONTH for prescription lenses from their lens partner for it, the single head strap is a huge downgrade from the index and never feels right, the controllers api doesn't work with like ANYTHING making it impossible to play most vr mods, $1059 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Despite having almost a decade of VR hardware steams VR menu SUCKS something I never noticed when doing PCVR because I could always swap back to desktop, you get one theater option for steaming 2d games, I can count the VR games it can run standalone on 2 hands, the battery life is ass, 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 14/10/2026Anyone have anything good to say about the steam frame yet because so far this thing has kinda sucked for me 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 09/10/2026ADHD when you have a package coming in really is just not being able to do anything until the package gets here 010

Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 06/10/2026It's hard for me to say this but I think it really needs to be done. I'm giving up microwaved oatmeal..... Every inch I've given it, its taken a mile.... every drop of water too much that caused it to explode and stick all over my microwave has brought me, like the oatmeal, to a boiling point... 110
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 05/10/2026So cool that bsky is the only app constantly harassing me to give them my ID to see 80% of the content on this website while I can get on twitter or an actual fucking porn website without it asking 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 30/09/2026I didn't know it was possible for controllers to have mapping compatibility errors like I thought you could tell one button to do what another button does no problem but the steam frame controllers have taught me otherwise...... 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The n key on mobile keyboards is actually also a space key and an m key but you wont know which it is after you send the text and see your typo 001
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 28/09/2026The steam frame and steam machine seem to hate eachother and do NOT want to work together but like every pair of siblings if you put them in their get along shirt and work with them for a bit they'll start begrudgingly working together 011

Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 27/09/2026These are NOT in Amy particular order it's just the order I remembered them in 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Like for MTG I used to be an LGS supporter but now 80% of them sell shit AT LAUNCH for the secondary market price which is ALWAYS inflated so I've been going to microcenter for cards because they actually sell at msrp 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Ya know if the government taxed profit made from reselling sites I think it would fix a lot of secondary markets and slow if not stop scalping. Unfortunately the gov does not do anything positive so it would never happen but imagine 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Hate hate hate hate seeing awesome epic shit I really want, then seeing its from Meccha Japan so if I want it I'd have to pay $200 in shipping and tariffs and wait 8 months for it to come in 010
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 25/09/2026I did not realize how much the steam frame hates glasses havers so now im going to have a very expensive paper weight until my lenses come in because my eyes just cant do contacts no more 😭 000

Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 24/09/2026VR devs stop taking the devil's (meta/sony) money and release the games on steam PLEASE. Its where the people who actually give af about VR are and I promise you 80% of meta quest purchases were for children who used it for a month and aren't going to buy your game. 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Streaming is just worse cable now, all major media franchises are under 3 umbrella companies, AAA games are overpriced gambling fronts that take 8 years and $100 billion. Bread prices are going up and the circus is in shambles but hey look at the GDP y'all 020
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 18/09/2026We need more gen Z to get 401ks so we can take them all out at the same time. The look on the economy's face would be epic 010

Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 10/09/2026And yes when I won it it came with a pack of film but I used all of it taking pictures of my cat before I knew it was $20 for an 8 pack of film 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 10/09/2026My Polaroid camera I won in a radio call in thing like 4 years ago has just been rotting on my shelf but everytime I look at film its like $2.50 per photo. What a crazy rate for some washed out over exposed images that take 10-15 minutes to develop AND can fuck up majorly super easy. 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 09/09/2026I still can't believe those ugly mfers from switch sports colonized Wuhu Island and stole it from the Miis 010

Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Cars really need some way to send other drivers like full voice clips man the way some people drive these days is unironically a threat to every other driver on the road because they think theyre the only mfer on it 010
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I really was a jeep wrangler drivers are the dumbest meanest smallest brained petty drivers but these newer truck models seemed to have pulled all those drivers into them now which is unfortunate because a Ford f150 is much much much more lethal than a jeep wrangler with no doors 000
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 04/09/2026This was after the guy drove into the median, flashed his lights, went to the right lane and passed like 6 cars (including me and the car in front of me who was only going like 5 mph over at the time). And of course this mfer was in a 2020 or newer model Ford f150. 100
Mage @magemagus.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Got brake checked and flipped off while driving during my lunch break today because I was apparently not going fast enough in the left lane (I was driving 15 mph over the limit). 100
