Aw, you’re sweet to say that. It’s written in the YA genre but I’m still trying to keep it intellectually stimulating. Once I finish with the editing I’m doing now, I’ve got to run it by someone in one of the Potawatomi councils for language and lore. So, still a few miles to go.

I wrote the ending a few weeks shy of 3 years. If lucky, and I work 1-2 hours everyday, I’ll have it in good enough shape for review and submittal by early January’27. This is not an easy process. Every word counts. Structure is important. Balance is crucial. Flow is the least of my worries.

It's so nice when writing is a joy. I love it when I'm in a good writing flow. I'm currently going back over the first part of my novel, about 20 chapters, and editing - digging out overuse of narration, among other things. I hope to have it in tip-top shape by January.
