i'm trying to do less in my work. with all this shiny overrendered AI bullshit i'm making an effort to be extra conscientious with my lines & application of extremely limited color

blue limited palette scifi drawing of a large planet looming over a towering city and a cloaked girl walking in a field

got around to scanning THE LONG DARK, a riso mini about a knight navigating the perils of the mega dungeon he’s taken refuge in. will share a couple pages

Cover of THE LONG DARK by Kate Sheridan, a dark fantasy mini comic printed in blue riso ink. A knight in a hounskull helmet that conceals his face holds aloft a lantern. Its glow illuminates him, the spiked flail in his other hand, and several stalagmites on the ground nearby while the rest of the image is a sea of dark blue.

PAGE 1
Panel 1
The knight from the cover walks through a doorway in the dungeon into a cryptlike space with many arches, his lamp lighting the path before him.

Panel 2
He then walks down a winding tower-like stone stair, the lamp illuminating part of the stairwell while the rest is dark.

Panel 3
A closeup of the knight’s helm: something has given him pause.

Tried to reformat the comic a lil so it’ll fit in one post!

A black and white comic strip depicting a bug who finds pleasure in life by enjoying the simple shared moments with his loved one.

Godzilla ゴジラ 1954, dir. Ishirō Honda, sfx. Eiji Tsuburaya A giant monster's sudden appearance triggers fears of nuclear apocalypse in post-war Japan.

An illustration of Godzilla as he appeared in the 1954 original film. He is even holding the oxygen destroyer from that movie, a weapon resembling a cylinder with a ball inside.
