So like are we seeing the mando movie what’s up what’s the vibe i am so out of the loop on anything fandom related in the past 6 months that’s not about 2 boy kissing hockey players

i think of this stinky shitty movie at least once a month and let myself sit in the despair of knowing how much wasted potential there was…

maybe colin trevorows ep ix would’ve been better

LMAOOO i mean they’re still homophobic and pray for my straightness every day but they’re at least nice to my gf when she’s around and have stopped pretending she’s my friend which is honestly more than i ever expected from them so. good considering.

i wish i had a cool or remotely interesting coming out story but my parents just sat me down when i was home visiting from college and basically said “we know what you are. we don’t like it but you don’t have to hide it.” and i cried! 🤩

I wonder if I’ll ever stop being angry all of the time.

i like to think of myself as following in my dad’s footsteps. listening to my dad preach neighborly love & radical sacrifice of Jesus from the front row. i think i preach too—love and sacrifice and forgiveness—just like i learned from his sermons, but he doesn’t want to hear my message.

i’m a pastors daughter, my parents took me to church at least 3 services a week including sunday school. VBS and church camp in the summers. they’re conservative trump supporters. they accidentally raised their worst nightmare— a gay liberal radical leftist social justice advocate.

haven’t been active much in my fandom accounts lately. the real world feels awful and scary and ice is directly affecting my community. ghe immigrant youth i work with are disappearing, some by ice, some in hiding in fear. ice murdering people protecting their communities. it’s a lot.

working in a school with a high immigrant population rn is hell. broke down crying at my desk this week more times than i’d like to admit. a dear student called me from jail crying, just a few hours before he was transferred to an ice detention center. i’ll never forget that call. fuck ice

yes i am deeply obsessed with heated rivalry and the cast rn but i really need everyone to be a little more normal they seem to love the fan interaction which is GREAT but its sickening to see so much open speculation on sexuality & shipping of irl people in a show about the fear of that very thing

it’s so hard being queer during the holidays when most of your family is conservative. even when they’re “supportive” it’s like conditional and play acting when I’m around them

when unexpected family members are invited to Christmas this year and you have to completely reevaluate if you should being your partner (we’re lesbians) and if you’ll have to call her your friend around the conservative’s children

“I’ve been a bad, bad girl,” I say huskily. You peer behind me to see 3 weeks of dirty laundry piled on the floor, dirty dishes spilling out of the sink, and an empty medication bottle I was supposed to refill 2 days ago.
