i think it's definitely helpful yeah, jj does use that but it has a different relation to branches and commits than git bookmarks in jj are the closest to branches in git but it's more a property of the commit rather than something separate... i'm not sure if that makes sense

more of me having a bone to pick with a lot of the modern design practices that have become popular. color does add fun to a ui but an accent color kind of looses it's meaning if it's literally everywhere i also think that people don't play with variable fonts that much when they should

i have the 24 oz version of this one, the "handle" protects the button that unlocks it so that would help 3. but it does have a straw and some crevices so it might suffer from 1. but i haven't had issues with that. it does say "hand wash recommended" and "can't handle hot liquids" tho...
