iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

oooffff.... just... the "gift" that keeps on giving, huh.

Ah yesss I just read the alien episodes yesterday, the organism/thing looks SO GOOD OMGGGG💖💖💖

Yuppppppp, it is not great for schedules like yours. Or mine, cause I like to take a break every now and then, which apparently is a grave sin according to WT lmao

Oof yeah I forgot Top30 also got moved... 💀💀💀 man they really hate Canvas huh...

120

It doesn't help that they keep pushing the Canvas promo lists further and further down on the main page. Those used to bring in new eyes, but not anymore. Plus I think in general there are less people using the app tbh, and I get why. I'm sorry to hear you're also experiencing lower views... 😔

Bonus: I once had an episode removed because I mentioned in the CREATOR NOTE (not even the episode itself) that I was playing HSR those days. Apparently mentioning things breaks copyright law - according to WT lmao. I had to remove the mention of the game if I wanted my episode restored. 💀

050

But you do have the choice and freedom to swear! 💖🥰 They would never restrict creativity like that 😇 /s

Long gone are the days of *several* Canvas comics getting main page banners for a full week. Or characters being allowed to swear lol - well of course you *can* swear... you just get hit with the Mature tag and get de-listed from Top30 + search results and all your under 18 readers lose access 🥰

140

Add to this the absolutely suffocating Age Rating System and the way they keep minimising Canvas promos, and the fact that they are very clearly pushing for AI to be involved.... yeah, WT is really not what it used to be.

So basically, every time I fail to upload a new episode within 2 weeks, I lose readers. They stay subscribed, but they don't see my updates anymore, unless they realise they are on the Recent tab and go out of their way to find my comic and interact with it so I can show up in the main tab again

Spicy Sultry Sapphic🔞 @spicymadamka.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

Ever since they swapped out the default "subscribed" tab to "Recent" and made it so that you disappear from it if you fail to update every 2 weeks, my comic has been slowly dying, because most ppl don't even know or notice that I have disappeared from what they THINK is all their "subscribed" list

Fairy Tale Wars features a 2 page back up short by @madamka.bsky.social in every issue. A story WAY TOO SPICY for Kickstarter...and may involve Masquerade and a "group activity". www.kickstarter.com/projects/com...

I'm working on a short film concept and one of the things I'm testing it out is whether or not I can actually do the things I want for the film haha xD For now I'm calling it Project Magwayen, a tale of a priestess trying to reach her Goddess.

Thie page was such a delight to ink

a comic page spread of a character slowly descending stairs, red veins act as panels.

They want it to become a thing so bad... meanwhile, it's actual output is subpar at best while being both ethically wrong and insanely wasteful energy-wise.

Ngl it's kinda hard to read the comment section on episodes where I know I have to introduce story beats people won't like 🫠 But it can't always be easy for the characters y'all, I have to make them suffer a lil every now and then 🥹

They definitely will, I already read through the article real quick and it's A+ advice.

I suspect you might have access to my Discord DMs somehow, because I was *just* recommending a friend to take a look at your past Kickstarters and see what they can pick up from there, and now you published this :DDD Gonna send it over to her 🫡✨
