Scam call to my mom. They pretended to be gas company for my sister's house and they HAD to intervene for emergency. I put on speaker and they said "We must come as soon as possible" to which I answered "sure, tell me which one you prefer to welcome you police or carabinieri?" They hang up. Rude!

With the new law, the girls in schools can no longer wear burqas or niqabs. Mind you NO ONE did so far and also there is already a law in Italy for which you cannot cover your face in public and statal buildings: schools, post offices, banks... One can't even wear a helmet, for example. 🤷‍♀️
