Pretty happy with how the models coming together. Contemplating if it even needs outer clothing for now or if I'll leave that alone till some other day. Gonna work on the signature ahoge, gloves, wrist bands, and other such little details and accessories. Also need more texturing on the legs

Haven't been able to build up the motivation to texture the face properly, so I'm using an old one for now from an animation I made a while back. Think this one's really coming together and I can't wait to see what I could try and do with it (Need to work on the texture placements however)

Started my journey to finally finish a new Celvi model, I've given up on many because of one issue with them or another, but I'm set to see this one through to the end with all I've learned from the past one's I've made Now for the laborious process of all the textures and figuring out the hair

Animation I did for Velkyens debut art contest a bit ago, loved seeing everyone's submissions, the communities incredibly creative and talented. Their art works are a joy to admire #Velkyart

Posting since it was finally shown to the rat man, Mozzimer Cheese. This is a birthday gift I've been working on with Lopho, Houds, and Pandie for the rats birthday stream. Had a great time with animating it @mozzvt.bsky.social @the-lopho.bsky.social @houdee.bsky.social @pandienychta.bsky.social

Been busy helping out with editing a friends videos, so I've not touched blender in quite a while. But I have been blessed with a video idea and free time Opened it up and was able to get the rust off in just a couple minutes and completed part of the scene, excited to see what it's like when done

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 27/09/2025

Got to talking about Moth (@mothteaa.bsky.social) having grandma hobbies in tonight's stream, I got the idea to have an image of her talking about said hobbies with a fellow moth grandma (Made a close up to give a better look at the model).

The animation I was doing for a buddy, bringing to life this moment from MozzFVT's stream from a lil while back. (Original clip in replies)

Really loved Celvies hollow knight thumbnail edit on youtube. Made me want to recreate the pose and model into the scene where she first fought Hornet. (Couldn't decide if I like the strong or weak fog more) #celviart

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

bit disappointed I couldn't figure out how I got the lighting in the first rendition of the last scene after my PC froze. Saving is an important habit.

000

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Was making real good progress on the render.... and then my PC crashed from all the leaves and volumetric fog while rendering. So now I'm back to before I had gotten all the lighting, fog and, leaves or even the half made pillar set up. Oh well, back to work

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 16/09/2025

Alright, finally finished a lil something I was making for a friend and am back to making my own blender stuff. Working on recreating a scene in my head of Celvion's face off with Hornet in Hollow knight. Got the models mostly done (Missing a the MC's cloak) gonna work on the scenery and lighting.

Happy birthday to HOUDEE_VT, Lopho contacted me last minute to add something into the appreciation video and this is what I came up with on no sleep and drugged up on caffeine

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 13/08/2025

It seems there was a minuscule amount of weight painting on the other foot, and since this was a mirrored paint, both feet had an itty bitty amount of control of one each others toes After figuring that out on accident I just removed it and all was honky dory

000

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 13/08/2025

Been working on another birthday project (One for which I got less than 13 hours notice) and I'm being stopped by this singular issue, everything else is going swimmingly. One toe simply refuses to be weight painted correctly and it's driving my sleep deprived and highly caffeinated self mad

Happy birthday to the birthday streamer Leutan! Hope you have a great b-day stream Leu, best wishes. (Works best done without sleep and on a tight deadline it seems) #LeutenArt

Been really enjoying making smaller chibi like characters, so gonna keep that ball rolling with some fan art of art of Velkyen. Original by art by @/_ML16_ on twitter. Currently only got the basic outline and the face, gonna work on the smaller details when I'm happy with this another day.

Loved the new Celvion emotes a lot, inspired me to make this animation here. Tried out properly drawing my own textures in Krita (Used it quite sparingly in previous works) and man, it really does make things easier. SUPER happy with how the hair came out this time around, I'd say my best to date

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 28/07/2025

Happy birthday to SilVRwingZ Made them this remake Chibi VR model of their dancing emote (My favourite emote) as a gift. Best wishes on future endeavors and streams

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Spine could do with some realigning, but otherwise I think I could use this after a bit of re-topology as another base for models.

000

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Finally figured out how to regain access to my old models from when I first got into blender and man, my sculpting skills really took a nose dive. No idea how I made this casually in a couple days back then. I couldn't remake this if I had double the time. Though the topology is horrendous.

120

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 23/07/2025

Finished animation, inspired by talks of farmer Moth and her iconic single tooth. Had a lot of fun with this one, learned a lot about where I can improve and new blender tricks.

041

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

This might be the best pair of eyes I've ever made, super delighted with these. Now if only I could make hair of this quality I'd be a happy camper

020

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 17/07/2025

Halfway done. Retopology sucks, but it's also a bit therapeutic when you get into a groove. Gonna test out weight painting this for a scene I wanna make that doesn't need legs. Probably add a bit more geometry to the shoulder so it deforms properly, see if I can make some good mouth shape keys.

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 15/07/2025

Got a rough body and hands, need to retopologize the body though, since I wanna use this for animating. Got it's proper shape through sculpting so it looks like full body stockings

000

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 13/07/2025

Alright, I've finally gotten around to remaking that animatable head from 2-3 months ago. I somehow lost the files (they just went poof) so I never did anything with it. Feel like this isn't quite up to the quality of the last one, but it's a start at least

030

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 17/06/2025

Finished up another Celvion animation. Not a game completion celebratation this time around, just a silly dataling

Steams working fine here in Finland. Might be a regional issue or The evil Within has started haunting ya

110

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 20/05/2025

Bit of behind the scenes of the Leuten project. Had a lot of lights that only affected certain objects like hair or skin. The fog is from a box using a principle volume node The giant orb above the scene is what I used to tinker with the hair highlights and the nodes I used are in the last image

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 20/05/2025

Finished up a scene of LeutenVT, this went by a lot quicker than expected, incredibly happy with how it came out. Longest thing to do was individually shading all the eye ball irises and figuring out how to add highlights to hair #LeutenArt

Been a hot minute since my last VR AVI, so I turned another model I've been working on into one. Shocked I had no real problems with this one, it just worked. Small tweaks to the height but otherwise a completely pain free experience for once. I'm really happy about this

010

MacTwist44 @mactwist44.bsky.social · 22/04/2025

From time to time yeah, love making a good stew or curry. It's really relaxing. The scent, the monotonous motion making sure nothing burns, the sizzling, the transformation when adding liquids and cream. Scratches an itch in my brain just right.
