Caitíní saileoige doing their fuzzy thang faoin springy spéir, solas órga hazing hazily tríd
A vertical close-up of a willow branch. Several catkins (small, oval-shaped flower clusters) are attached to a dark, slender twig that runs vertically through the center of the frame. They are light silvery grey. Each one is covered in tiny, fine hairs that grow outward from the center.

The scene is backlit. The sun appears as a bright, white, blurry circle in the upper center of the image, positioned directly behind the top-most catkins. This lighting creates a rim light effect, making the fine hairs on the edges of the catkins appear as a bright, glowing white outline.

The background is heavily blurred (bokeh effect). The bottom third consists of dark green, dense foliage. The upper two-thirds shows thin, bare branches of other trees set against a pale, bright blue sky.

Halloumi. #justasnack
A single, rectangular block of cheese standing upright on a white plate, styled with a minimalist aesthetic.

A thick, vertical slab of halloumi, three times as tall as it is wide. It has been heavily seared, showing a deep, dark and golden brown charred crust on its front and back faces, while the sides remain a creamy off-white.

Resting horizontally across the very top of the cheese is a thin, bright green very thinly cut piece of spring onion, adding a sharp architectural element.

The halloumi sits in the center of a clean white circular plate. It is surrounded by a scattered drizzle of vibrant orange-amber sweet chilli sauce and a light dusting of red Aleppo pepper flakes and black sesame seeds.

The lighting is bright and focused, reflecting off the surface of the plate and the metallic kitchen counter in the background. The colors are high-contrast: the stark white of the plate against the deep charred browns of the cheese, the vivid orange oil, and the pop of green on top.

It looks fucking delicious.

Repost with a photo of yours that would make a good album cover. This is from a night of memorable boogies in west Cork with the world's best collaborator. It was as disco as it looks. It might actually be an album cover someday, so you can all say you saw it here first.
A photograph framed through thick black beams. This framing creates a "looking in" perspective onto a central disco ball.

At the dead center of the frame hangs a large, silver mirror ball, the subject of the photo. It is caught in a moment of intense illumination. A powerful white light hits the ball from the upper left, causing a brilliant, almost blinding flare.

Dozens of sharp, dramatic rays of white light explode outward in every direction, cutting through the darkness of the room.

The background is a blur of motion and colour dominated by deep blacks and brilliant whites, punctuated by vibrant splashes of neon pink and electric blue light as people dance below.

The contrast between the rigid, dark foreground beams and the chaotic, exploding light of the disco ball creates a sense of high energy, celebration, and "nightlife" grit.

Of course, a few minutes later it looked like this, because Ireland. Easy come, easy go.
A wide-angle landscape photograph of a beach under a dramatic, overcast sky. The image is divided into three distinct horizontal bands:

Foreground: Overgrown, wind-swept dune grass in shades of olive green and brown occupies the bottom third, providing a textured, natural border.

Midground: A dark sand beach meets a churning grey sea. White foam from breaking waves creates bright, horizontal lines across the water. Several small, distant figures of people are scattered along the shoreline, giving a sense of scale to the vast environment. A rugged headland is visible in the far distance on the right.

Background: The sky is filled with heavy, layered clouds in shades of charcoal and deep blue. A bright break in the clouds on the left casts a pale, cold light across the horizon.

Grand day for it before another few weeks of rain rolls in.
A landscape photograph of a coastal scene in West Cork, Ireland, on a bright, clear day, framed in the foreground by a silhouette of a bare, weathered tree.

On the right side of the frame, the dark, leafless branches of a thin, skeletal tree reach upward and slightly left. Below the tree and across the bottom of the image is a rolling hillside covered in low-lying, dark brown and purplish scrubland, typical of coastal heath.

The hill slopes down toward the Atlantic. A thin veil of sea spray clings to the base of the distant cliffs where the land meets the ocean. The water is a deep blue, with thundering waves and foamy white caps.

In the far distance, a rugged coastline extends into the sea. On the highest point of the distant Galley Head. The lighthouse is visible against the horizon.

The sky occupies the upper half of the image, transitioning from a pale, crisp blue near the horizon to a deeper azure at the top. The lighting is sharp and directional, coming from the side, which highlights the textures of the dry vegetation and the stark silhouette of the tree.

A black-and-white cinematic still from the film Schindler's List showing a crowded street during the liquidation of a ghetto. Amidst a sea of desaturated figures and Nazi soldiers, a small young girl walks alone, her double-breasted coat rendered in a striking, symbolic red—the only color in the image.

Winter AF biy
A vertical photograph of a mature, moss-covered deciduous tree standing beside a body of still water in Ireland.

The primary subject is a large tree with a thick, textured trunk and heavy, sprawling branches that extend upward and outward across the frame. Almost the entire surface of the bark is covered in a vibrant, thick layer of green moss. Near the base of the trunk, several small clusters of dead, copper-colored leaves remain attached to lower twigs, providing a sharp color contrast to the green moss.

You Can't Have It All, 2022 Borosilicate glass and sand, by Lea Cetera.

Cetera is interested in how the body is described in relation to machines. The image of a 'biological clock' was popularised in the late 1970s when career women were warned they risked missing their chance of motherhood. Human fertility is complex, and many of the reports that inspired the idea of a biological clock were based on bad data, but the metaphor still provokes great anxiety.

France is committed to the sovereignty and independence of nations, in Europe and elsewhere. This guides our choices. It underpins our commitment to the United Nations and to its Charter.

It is on this basis that we support, and will continue to support Ukraine and that we have built a coalition of the willing for a robust and lasting peace, to defend these principles and our security.

It is also on this basis that we decided to take part in the exercise organized by Denmark in Greenland. We fully assume this decision, because security in the Arctic and at the outer edges of our Europe is at stake.

No intimidation or threat will influence us -neither in Ukraine, nor in Greenland, nor anywhere else in the world when we are confronted with such situations.

Tariff threats are unacceptable and have no place in this context. Europeans will respond in a united and coordinated manner should they be confirmed. We will ensure that European sovereignty is upheld.

It is in this spirit that I will engage with our European partners.

No I'm good, Gemini, thanks. (I didn't ask about the Sonnet 116 or knitting.)
Google Gemini replying to me with a double hallucination:

While Sonnet 116 is not a standard knitting pattern, I found that patterns exist for cross-stitching or blackwork embroidery of the text of the sonnet, often for wedding gifts.

Would you like to search for a knitting pattern for a specific item that uses an element from the sonnet, or perhaps a link to one of the Sonnet 116 cross-stitch patterns I found?

Timoleague Friary was built in the 13th century on top of a much older early Christian site founded by the patron saint of honey and beekeepers, Molaga. The village gets its name from the friary, not the other way around; Timoleague (Teach Molaga) means "the house of Molaga". Grand evening for it.
A wide, tranquil landscape image of the imposing, ruined Timoleague Friary in County Cork, Ireland, at dusk. The ancient stone structure is centered on the horizon, grey walls and gothic arched windows silhouetted against a pale autumn sky. The friary sits on the bank of a perfectly still body of water, the estuary of the Argideen (little silver river). The water acts as a mirror, creating a flawless, near-symmetrical reflection of the ruined walls and the bare trees along the shoreline.

This is the intricate action of a Synchronome electric clock, the most accurate pendulum clocks ever made. They were being produced in London about 100 years ago and this one ended up a grandfather clock my grandfather built. It produces an incredibly distinctive set of clunks and clacks and zaps.
A detailed, close-up photograph of an antique clock movement. The mechanism is made of brass and steel, mounted on a dark, rectangular base. The upper section shows several visible gears and an escapement mechanism. In the lower half, two large cylindrical drums are visible, around which thin, tightly wound wire or cord is spooled.

It is poetry day, my dudes. Chum Michael Davitt an dán seo thréis slad ar pháistí Palaistíneach i 1982, agus dár náire, tá sé chomh fíor is a bhí riamh inniu i 2025. Michael Davitt wrote this poem after a massacre of Palestinian children in 1982 and to our shame, it's as true as it ever was.
Oh, My Two Palestinians - Michael Davitt

18/9/82, after seeing a TV report on the massacre of Palestinians in Beirut

I pushed the door

That I might let in light from the top of the stairs:

The bedclothes flung from them
Lying askew
As they had fallen:

where they had fallen:

Her nightdress thrown up over her midriff, blood on lace underwear,
From a gash in the back of her head

her chicken brain splattered on the pillow, guts oozing from her belly
like seaweed on a rock,

a liver on a sheet,
one blood-soaked arm aloft,
Oh, my two Palestinians
rotting in the central heating.

The heartbreaking "girl in the red coat" scene from Schindler's list The image itself is a black and white frame in what remains of the ghetto. In the foreground, two figures, a man and a woman, are pulling a wooden cart. The man is wearing a dark coat and hat, while the woman is in a dark coat and headscarf. On the cart, a small, still figure is lying face down, partially covered, in one of the only instances of colour in the film. It's the body of the little girl in the red coat who Oskar Schindler saw running as the Nazis liquidated the ghetto and slaughtered her family. This scene plays out daily in real life in Gaza today, as the descendants of people who survived the Nazi holocaust perpetuate one of their own and desecrate the memories of the victims who came before them.

"Hey here are some of the ways I fucked up just now lol." Then it fucked up exactly the same way again 😂
Failure cause:

Requirements triage error. I overrode your hierarchy. You prioritized completeness, structure, and verified citations. I prioritized speed.

Research failure. I did not run a full web pass with reputable, current sources. I relied on assumptions and stale knowledge.

Citation integrity breach. I output placeholder-style citations that are not publicly verifiable.

Format noncompliance. I diverged from your exact sections and failed to deliver the event-by-event matrix with sufficient depth.

Evidence coverage gap. I did not ingest enough primary reporting to reflect current events and institutional moves you referenced.

Time mismanagement. I promised a timeline I cannot meet because I cannot work in the background. I then rushed a draft.

QA lapse. I sent without a final checklist against your spec. No cross-check of claims, dates, or links.

Tooling misuse. I did not fully parse your PDF or use live browsing rigorously for each claim.

Trump's vandalisation of the Oval Office has highlighted the fasces over the door, bound in now-golden cloth with a corona triumphalis (victory crown) at each end. This bundle of rods is the symbol of power and authority that gave fascism its name. Parody is dead. Welcome to the desert of the real.
Two pictures of a door in the White House's famous Oval Office, one in one muted, respectful tones we're all familiar with and that we associate with the building under the stewardship of even the most grotesque of former US presidents, and the other after it got sexually assaulted by Donald Trump, with tacky-ass gold fuckware from Temu glued everywhere and gold paint on multiple surfaces. Think "palace of Versailles" if it had been decorated by a fucking moron.
