Sometime, perhaps 10+ years ago, Carmel voted to raise property taxes in support of schools. Many voters said basically, "We live here for the schools. We've got to support them." Amazing that that reasoning can't apply to "We all complain about the roads built with tax dollars. Gotta do something"
