A new figure customization. I turned TNBA Batgirl into Spoiler (Stephanie Brown). As she was Batgirl for a period of time, I figured it would work best to combine her costume designs while adding a stylized❗️mark to her mask to differentiate her from Barbara Gordan. #customfigure #batman

Photo of a BATS Batgirl action figure standing next to TNBA Batgirl (customized to look like Stephanie Brown). Purple marks were added to make the figure look more like Stephanie's Batgirl outfit, while adding an exclamation mark to her mask as a reference to her Spoiler alter ego.

With a few tweaks; I think I'm ready for Ottawa Comic Con (or Halloween parties). I had to use my pinky to take the picture as the gloves aren't touch screen friendly. #cosplay #costume #pulphero #theshadow

Photo of the poster in full costume; posing in front of a mirror using his phone camera. He is dressed as The Shadow; a classic hero in black fedora and caped trench coat. A red muffler and scarf obscure his facial features as part of the disguise.

His left hand (mirrored) sports a ring with a large red stone.

More character designs for my Switch Sentinel Concept. This time we have arial ace WindStorm Pilot♀️ and sharpshooter ForestWrath Sniper♂️. Pilot has obvious inspirations from the Rocketeer while Sniper is a literal green beret sporting a military-style sweater. #characterdesign #SwitchSentinel

What if TADC was set in a 80's/90's JRPG setting? Here's a take on Gangle as a Dark Magician. #tadc #theamazingdigitalcircus #fanart #tadcau #fantasyau

A rather menacing Gangle in a large white cloak with some gold trim and a blue interior. She has twin striped markings under each eye rather than her usual tears, and blue jewels; a small one on her forehead, and a large one over her chest area clasping the cloak.

Mohrta is a really unique FPS with a lot of interesting weaponry, characters and environment designs. Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/2881610/... The soundtrack is really cool, and the artbook feels like a devlog with over 300 pages of designs and discussions. #mohrta #indiegames #screenshots

Two boss character designs for my #SwitchSentinel concept: - HellFire Commando - OceanHook Captain The naming conventions for the boss characters are a dynamic reference to their elemental affinity/abilities and a military rank or term. #characterdesign #art

I've been slowly working on a very Rockman/Mega Man inspired setting using its original inspirations from from Kikaider and Cyborg 009, plus an obscure Toku show where the hero had the ability to change between different powers/elements. #art #characterdesign #switchsentinel

"Captain Conservation" is one of my favourite statues in Ottawa. #ottawa #statue

A painted statue of a naval captain resting a pair of binoculars on his chest; mounted onto a red metal entrance canopy of an office building. He has a Picasso-inspired face; half of the right side of the face is pure black, his left half is grey. The eyes, nose, mouth and chin are visible in lighter colours.

Really old piece when I was really into Earthbound.

I finally finished an old piece I started years ago. It's a redesign of Oil Man from Mega Man. I went with a 1930's toon style as I felt it was a more appropriate replacement. The shading's mostly inconsistent, as I tried following a plausible light source, but gave up halfway 🙃 #megaman #redesign

A redesigned version of Mega Man character Oil Man. He has a 1930's toon-inspired face sporting a small red nose and a toothy grin.

I found and colored an old piece back when I played Cuphead a lot; I drew the linework back when the nerf to the Charge weapon was announced. Before the patch, this weapon practically carried me through most of the game. "Nerts" is an old slang term for saying "Nuts." #oldart #art #cuphead

Colored image of character Cuphead staring disappointedly at his charging finger weapon, while saying, "Nerts..."

Line art of Wiz's character; with non-canon pixie boots and leggings.

Line art of Wiz's TADC OC Woobble; a pool toy themed character.

Some fantasy character designs: Dark Wizard Ocular and his henchmen Stix and Stonez. Ocular is never without his winged familiar Lookout. His henchmen are animated puppets, but still have their own personalities and (limited) intellect. #art #fantasy #characterdesign

Pencil-color drawing of two characters: a short mono-eyed shadow entity in a blue robe and wizard hat and a flying horned eye with a yellow tail.

Another pencil-color drawing of two characters in similar outfits, but different body shapes and weapons. Stix on the left wields a tall spear to match his lanky appearance, and Stonez on the right wields a spiked mace that complements his short and wide frame. both have matching masked helmets and tunics with a symbol that depicts a hatted eyeball, similar to their master's appearance.

Posting an old piece I drew in MSpaint years ago. I was inspired by an old SNES game, "Super Ninja Boy," an RPG game that combined side-scrolling beat-em-up battles in random encounters and classic turned-based combat for bosses. I drew these two back in the late 2010's. #art #oldart

Screenshot of gameplay footage from Captain Wayne: Vacation Desperation. The scene is a restroom; the player is facing a wall sign beside a mirror that states, "WASH YOUR FINGER." There is a drawing, under neath the text, of a pointing hand that looks suspiciously phallic; it points at a large blue water droplet.

Customized Nightwing toy; modified Batman base and Jason Todd head from McFarland Toys' re-releases. I found the Animated Series Nightwing too short, and that Robin should have been Tim Drake's incarnation. The McFarland toy line provided many Batman bodies to use. #customfigure #batman

Charlie and Pim end up in a reality where they are private investigators in a noir setting. I had fun with this one =) #smilingfriends #fanart

Smiling Friends characters Charlie and Pim looking like detectives; Charlie with a classic fedora and long coat and Pim in a suit with a bowler derby. Both are smoking while discussing their situation. Charlie: "Okay Pim... Now that we're hardboiled detectives, we gotta watch for dames with mysteries to solve." Pim: "isn't saying "dames" a bit dated?" Charlie: "Yeah, but it's a given for this situation..."

I've tried my hand at customizing action figures. One is of Justice League villain Prometheus and the other Bane from the new Batman Adventures with a comic-accurate mask and no spikes. A sketch of Prometheus is included; I changed his weapon to an executioner's sword for thematic purposes.

Line art drawing by OP of DC Universe villain Prometheus in a style similar to Batman the animated series; he is standing menacingly, facing the viewer, while holding an executioner sword in his left hand.

Two 6" scale customized action figures, one of Prometheus and one of villain Bane with comic accurate mask.
