A couple of pictures from my hike in the Moffat Hills earlier this week. The weather was very pleasant until it wasn't. 18C bright sunshine on the high routes turned to 5C and snow/hail/sleet/rain in an instant. Followed by lightning. Wind gusts 30-40 mph. So glad to see the bothy. Grim for June.

Forested hills can be seen behind an old dry-stane dyke type wall. A track winds up the right-hand side. Moffat Hills, Scotland.

The 500kg hardened titanium alloy probe is currently falling out of its eccentric orbit at hypersonic speed. Every perigee is like russian (ha) roulette now, and we still have no idea where it will impact.

Only two major Hollywood players broke the boycott. Disney gave Riefenstahl a tour of his studio and showed her the storyboards to Fantasia. But when Riefenstahl asked Disney to screen Olympia and vouch for it, Disney balked. After all, he had to do business in this town.

Today, as a wee treat I bought a new set of keycaps. They're really nice. The box contained every key that I needed plus a variety of spares, most useful, some not so much: 8 page up keys 6 page down keys 4 '@ keys 3 p keys My escape key is a delightful little chunk of cheese now too!
