Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Liz Truss banging on about the welfare state is absolute peak irony. Perhaps start by giving up the taxpayer-funded allowance of up to £115,000 a year available to former Prime Ministers — after serving just 49 days in office. And thanks, too, for the mortgage-rate shock following the mini-budget. 020
Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 20/01/2026Please consider signing this petition. In a healthy democracy, it is essential that constituencies are represented by Members of Parliament chosen by their electorate and standing transparently under their party’s colours. 000

Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 14/01/2026A recommended read. #PoliticsontheEdge is sharply observed and impressively written, offering a clear-eyed account of how we arrived at the present moment. Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 19/05/2025We’ve all lost out! The whole nation would be better to have freedom of travel and work in Europe. But, absolutely this is a start. Leaving the EU was a catastrophe, the Government need to be open to calling out those who got us in this mess. 030
Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 21/02/2025Oh how I wish someone was cancelled. Seriously, what have we done to deserve this National embarrassment? 010
Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 21/02/2025Why has this taken so long? What is Starmer afraid of? We need to forget about the Daily Mail and Telegraph readers and make bold steps. We need to be closer to Europe. 090

Mark Fagan @macgreen.bsky.social · 12/12/2024I’ve honestly no idea why the whole Brexit mess is such a blockage for the new Gov. What are they afraid of? That we would upset the Farage voters? We need to steer a path away from this madness and support the next generation. Brexit was always going to be a disaster. Reality needs to kick in! 020
