We grow enough food to feed every human we just divert most of it to feed animals so that some people can eat meat, eggs and dairy. It takes a lot of food to feed an animal… it’s not sustainable.

In hot dry places, that coverage has allowed respite for plants and animals. They have reversed desertification. We find farmers here are loving them. They condense water at night and the run off creates lines of grass that keep animals fed through summers and provide an 2nd income for farmers.

They just wasted ammunition, lives, resources, upset the world, renegotiated a worse deal, and now expects a pat on the back like a toddler who smashed his toys but picked up the pieces. I've read 2. That's just the Japanese style of writing. You see it in manga dialogue too. They like repetition. They're a culture who like to know with certainty. Unlike the UK/Aus where you're asked to between the lines. Where things like, 'Yeah righto, mate,' is not right nor friendly.

I made seitan from vital wheat gluten the other day. It was so easy and tasty! Never eaten so well since I learned to cook whole food vegan. Sauces where you just chuck bundles of herbs or a whole capsicum in! No more oils and emulsifiers. So good.

Not Auckland. NZ is currently suffering under a Right Wing govt. Aus yo-yos between slightly right and full on Nut Job Right. Need a neutral zone. I sometimes think the Republicans are dragging the US backwards but then private companies set up huge solar farms in Texas or dairy fermentation plants.
