@alexisdahl.com I've been on a kick lately watching your U.P.-related geology videos. How did you pick up rock identification? My family has a cabin a few miles north of Crystal Falls and there are lots of rocks but I'm still only at the "Well that rock is brownish-gray" level of identification.

Don’t be afraid to try new things. Data Scientists who live inside Jupyter notebooks are a thing of the past. You need to be brave, learn to design ML systems, build projects and go beyond Python. These are investments that will pay off.

@techconnectify.bsky.social I caught up on the Peltier elements, and considered them at one point for using them to heat water. In my case, heating a small pool, and eventually just moved the pool for sunlight, but if that's not an option, is your refrigeration cycle the right answer there too?
