if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."

If you’re someone who draws all day you NEED to get up and exercise your body in some way/shape or form. It’s almost non-negotiable.

they have very similar scythes because veronica was so impressed by james’ devoted personality and everything he’s done for her that she decided to choose her own scythe to match 🥹

artists 🎨 stop apologizing for not posting, for taking breaks, for being slow, for drawing the same character, for posting only sketches, for gushing over OCs, for being a beginner, for raising your prices, for trying a new medium— start doing whatever you heckin want

rakepick is also there (i ignore everything that happened in the portrait vault that just isn’t canon to me what the hell was that) being the cool aunt to aurora (the child) who takes her on vacations to egypt and teaches her cool magic (in secret from her doting moms)

i made up a beautiful story for my hphm mc where she marries merula and they adopt a child who happens to be a metamorphmagus and she just changes her appearance to look like she IS a biological child of her lesbian mothers even though she absolutely doesn’t have to

My frames for @unicornframes.bsky.social project, which was an absolute joy to take part in and I am very emotional about 💛 Please check it out!

Frame 37 of the project: a shot showing Izzy standing at the bow of the shop done in monochrome sketchy style. His unicorn leg is the only colored part of the artwork, glowing gold.

Frame 111 of the project: Izzy in a wayercolory style, cooking up, holding the letter from the crew in his hands. A sketch of a swallow is faint in the background behind him.

Frame 181 of the project: Done to resemble a blend of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure styles, Izzy looks ahead. Old school yellow subs read "-indestructible little fucker."

Frame 238 of the project: done in a vaguely oil painting painterly style, Izzy looks ahead, a small smile playing on his face. A golden halo surrounds him.
