I found this old VHS case, but sadly the tape inside was something else. 😕 An episode of The Simpsons from 2003, followed by a long recording of the music channel “MusicMatch USA” (later renamed to Fuse)… at least the box is neat! 📼

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

How far the Apple quality bar has fallen... you can't even update apps anymore. Clicking "Download" just puts you in an endless loop, as seen in the image below. 🤦‍♂️ (And no, I'm not updating the OS, as that'll just break more stuff. 😅)

Oh my!! Safe travels! Pro tip: Put some blankets and sheets between things, plastic likes to rub against things in weird ways in cars, and then months later you'll notice little wear spots on things that weren't there before. 😅

Finally met Steve from @mac84.bsky.social! This was his Power Mac 7100/80, with an Apple developer HDD plugged in.. It has all sorts of things including System 7.0 beta disk images, which install normally on a Mac. Also has System 7 internal release notes too! 😮
