And like I said in the threat RED isn't even the first toku that did shared continuity or ongoing storylines in between seasons. Power Rangers did that and Disney era showed you can have that while still keeping seasons stand alone.

Can I confess that while I know of Garfield, Heathcliff is the orange cat I grew up on thanks to the DIC cartoon, and for the longest time I thought Garfield was the copy cat.

It's not called Gavan Infinite season 2 or Space Sherrif Omegahorn. It makes Project Red harder to jump into with any season in contrast to other tokus like Sentai, Rider, heck even Power Rangers, the one toku that actually did shared continuity.

It also just makes Gavan story intentionally incomplete, in a "don't worry, it's gonna continue in other projects" but it's not some mini side plot, but the main story with big ass cliffhanger. Plus for outside looking in, you would think Omegahorn is meant to be a sequel to Gavan?

Honestly, this is where my issue with Project RED in how it handles the shared continuity comes. Cause to watch Omegahorn and understand why Gavan characters show up, it's pretty much mandatory to watch Gavan Infinity first. And then it's a gamble whether or not you liked Gavan to keep watching it.

Maybe make Sinestro Corp, were Sinestro has his group off followers, but he's the only one that has yellow ring. Would have been more unique take imo.

Idk, I feel like Sinestro Corp and Red Lantern Corp are interchangeable to me, cause both of them are evil lanterns who rivals the green ones. At least Star Sapphires had the whole questionable philosophy on love making them more stand out as wild card corp.

Honestly, I think I'm starting to dig the idea of Sinister being the only yellow lantern and not do Sinistero Corp. Like, ok conceptually is not out of character for him to form his own Corp of followers, but idk if it's popculture osmosis, but we aleady have Red Lanterns.

Personally, I feel like Sinestro og design worked, where he is the only yellow lantern, with no corp.

Heck, considering the often theme of sentient life is finding identity, is makes so much sense to make it a trans allegory. It even gave me an idea for my own robot character.

I think what I like about MLAATR is that the trans allegory was very likely not intended, but it's written in such a way that it could interpreted as. I know people throw around the clip "writers who used subtext are cowards" but I think that's why cause it makes art interpreted in variety of ways.

If you want to make a goon design, it should at least fit the character.

As someone who is a bit of a goon myself, holy shit, those "redesigns" are so embarrassing cause simple from a character stand point. Especially Mystique Taking women that are supposed to be in their 30-50s, both of whom are mothers, and making them into big booby models.

I mean, there's also the aspect that GenAI uses pre existing art as assets to make it's slop, aka plagiarism with extra step. So, I think using GenAI even as a way to criticise it is still not a good idea, when you can just have someone make an art that looks like genai, like they did in Gumball.

Basically, gaming can be enjoyed in one way and that's competitively and people who play for fun aren't the same as "true gamers. What's funny is that I don't think they're necessary wrong at least as an opinion, but they so annoying about it.

What annoys me about gaming gatekeep is that I've seen recently coming from "arcade bros" who reject any modern games simple cause it's "arcade gameplay" and while there's A LOT of obvious issues with modern games, the way they are talking about it comes across as conservative and reactionary.
