Fair enough. It’s a tell. I don’t think they see it as a problem at all, they still think they are being supportive. It’s as if they never really ever had our backs at all, but wanted to appear to be doing so, and that’s no longer required.

Which part do you get? Is it the agreeing with the transphobes that we trans women aren’t really women and are dangerous to cis women? Or is it that they should throw a minority under the bus to win more votes? The term isn’t really the problem here, though it’s the most obvious.
