Sometimes I'll complain (in my head) I don't get invited to things anymore since I've been ill-- but then I'll get texts like "hay Rose, come hang out with me and my band tonight at our show!"

I know I'm in the minority, and I respect that, but I just can't stand his adaptations. If King grumbled about Kubrick's masterpieces for 46 years (and counting), what is this? Shirley Jackson would have beat the shit out of him with her clog. Henry James wouldn't even have acknowledge him.

Changed up my fab four for September. Some art house, some real life cannibals, problematic trans cinema, and women going crazy in general. #letterboxd #horrorsky

The Beast - watched for the crazy ai time travel Lynchian vibes, stayed for Lea Seydoux acting the shit out of this film.

A Reflection of Fear - dissociated horror and misunderstood trans classic. Agree or I'll bite your fingers off!

Shameful Wife Torture! Or An Aria on Gazes - this was my first Sato movie. Speaking on the tech side of the film, I think this is a masterpiece, and such a gorgeous lofi latex comfort piece. Just sleep.

Four Flies on Grey Velvet - so underrated. Hot men, crazy women... An Argento sandwich!
