Meshtastic without a phone. Plai turns a Cardputer ADV with the LoRa cap into a standalone mesh messenger. Messages, nodes and history all live on the SD card, so nothing is lost when you reboot or swap firmware. m5ware.com/projects/434 #Meshtastic

One of the originals: M5Stack-SD-Updater by @tobozo.eurosky.social has been around since 2018. Put your apps on an SD card and pick one from a menu on the device, no computer needed. It works with M5Unified too. m5ware.com/projects/407 #M5Stack

The Cardputer makes a pretty good handheld. Cardputer Game Station has emulators for NES, SNES, Game Boy, Mega Drive, PC Engine and more than ten other systems. The keyboard is the controller, or plug in M5Stack's joystick unit. m5ware.com/projects/414 #Cardputer
