They tried replacing a simple solution with a more clunky, expensive one. VR is never going to go the sci-fi "everyone has it all the time" kind of thing, it's main use is already here and it works really well. Heck, even Meta gave up on making the Quest headsets into the "Metaverse machine".

I get it, although i'm not a fan of Black Sabbath and Metallica, i still love classics like Judas Priest, Slayer, Opeth, In Flames and even more extremes like Emperor and Darkthrone. I imagine the newer 2000's wave of Nu-Metal would be hard to swallow for ppl who hate rap or more electronic sounds

They're amazing and def one of the most influential, but i wouldn't say they're *the most* important. They wouldn't exist without bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Korn and many others that shaped more than just their subgenres.

The essential classic songs are One Step Closer, Crawling, Somewhere I Belong, Faint, Given Up, Bleed It Out and, of course, In The End. The new album has some great songs too, if you wanna hear them. Heavy Is The Crown, Casualty and Two Faced are genuinely amazing
