When ants fight they don't always fight to the death. Sometimes they see which ant has longer legs by standing as tall as they can next to each other. Sometimes two ants who enjoy boating will get into such a fight near the water. This is called "The pair of docks of taller ants"

Everything is terrible, but the temperatures are finally cool enough here that the cats want to sit on my lap while I'm working at my computer! (But that cooler weather means we have the first frost coming soon, looks like probably this weekend. SIGHHHHH. I JUST started getting good tomatoes!)
